How beautiful and intriguing is that cover??? I cannot wait :) Esp. since the author is HEATHER!
Stranded on Earth four thousand years they’ve waited for the arrival of the One: some to save her, others to kill her. With her birth, the ancient prophecy could at last be fulfilled and the doorway between the worlds would open. Those who know the prophecy believe this event occurred almost eighteen years ago, and now, they'll stop at nothing to find her.

Seventeen-year-old Eveline has lived her entire life on the move and she hates it. She knows her parents believe she’s the One, and they've done whatever it takes to stay one step ahead of those who want her dead. But Eveline isn't fully convinced that her parents' beliefs match her own. What she does believe is that Leadville, Colorado may be the chance she's been waiting for. The chance to be somewhere safe. The chance for her to make friends and have fun. The chance to finally date a guy. The chance to be a normal girl, at least as normal as possible for someone not human.

There is need. And then there is Fate...

Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.

When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon... and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.

When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

Review:

I will try not to get all Fangirl , but really I loved this! The story line is exciting, has the right pace and leaves you breathless. I have mad love for all of Jennifer's writing and Pure is no different. With a hot mess going on the characters are put through tests of trust and you can feel the tension throughout.

Alex has found out what she is supposed to be in the last book. In this one she has all kinds of people after her. But she has to figure out who they are. I love Alex she is absolutely a Kick Butt character! She is strong and yet vulnerable. Two major hotties want her... but I'm not sure I like one of them at all "for her" I cannot wait to see more of what she can do and what she can get into!

Aiden **swoon** I love this boy! I do... he is having a hard time with his feelings for Alex. He's pureblood after all. I love all the moments he lets his guard down and can just be honest with her. He is strong, romantic, and very protective. He is not like the other pure's and I am so glad. In this book he has to deal with Seth alot more and well he cannot stand when he's with Alex. Love the action scenes as well as like I said the times he can sneak with Alex... He will do anything for her and I cannot wait till he actually does!!

Seth.. Oh hottie how I love to not like you, then like you, then hate you LOL. Yes, I really felt all those while reading this one. He is snarky, powerful and thinks he loves Alex... I think he has mad skills. Being what he is cannot be easy.

All the characters grow some in this one. It's good to see them getting better, they still all have faults but that is what keeps them real. If you haven't read any of Jennifer's books.... Make Sure You DO!! She is a wicked good author :)

Meant to Be by Tiffany King **Review**

Paperback, 296 pages
Published March 18th 2011 by Self Published

Krista Miller feels like she has lived her entire life in a glass box with her every emotion on display. She can’t help feeling like a defect as her sensitivities have made her socially inept and without any real friends; the one exception being the boy that visits her each night in her dreams.

Krista’s emotions are put to the test when a move to California triggers a devastating change to her fantasy world. The nightly comfort that the boy provides has now become a recurring nightmare as he is taken from her by an unseen force.

Struggling to appear normal, Krista enrolls in a new school and finds it to be nothing like she thought. Her new life is sent spiraling out of control from a strange connection with a boy, Mark, who claims to know all her secrets.

As Krista begins to explore the emotions that Mark evokes in her, secrets about their mysterious past and their predestined purpose threatens to separate them just when they have found each other.

About Tiffany King : Taken from her site...
Hi, my name is Tiffany King the author of the Paranormal/Romance YA novel “Meant to Be” and I’m practically a native Floridian. My family and I have been here for the last fourteen years and have gotten quite used to the mild winters and scorching summers. I went back to school when I turned 31 and will finish up this spring. I wrote my book “Meant to Be” two years into my degree program and put it on hold while I finished school. Of course my degree has nothing to do with writing *drat* but that doesn’t mean that I’m not going to keep writing. During this process with “Meant to Be” I discovered just how much I love to write and I have many story ideas tucked away. I’m glad you made it to my blog and hope you will follow me and “Meant to Be” as we navigate through self-publishing. Welcome Aboard.

**Review**

Meant to Be is just outright Amazing! I loved everything about this book. I went into reading it without reading the blurb b/c that's how I roll. I was instantly pulled in and couldn't put it down. The story line flows really well and doesn't drag. There is just enough to keep you guessing as to what is going on. Also, Tiffany has earned a spot with Author Shelly Crane as an amazing Swoony writer *yes I make up words to explain the awesomeness*

The characters are very well written ... they are teenagers and while they have their "moments" they are not annoying or silly. Each one is well thought out and developed in their own way.

Krista... I really enjoy her. She has been through alot but at the same time she's been sheltered some. Her emotions always get the best of her and she has no idea why. She has dreamed about a boy her whole life and the she literally meets the man of her dreams. I love how this was done, and how she reacts. I'm not going to spoil anything for you  but Krista is a fun, engaging character... I loved her!

Mark... oh you know how I like my book boys? Well he is right up there with the best of them. Amazing looks, great personality and fiercely protective! *swoon*

Here is where I am going to tell you a fave part of my book .... so beware don't read this if you don't like to see stuff before you read. I don't think it's spoilery though..

"I want you to listen to me, You seem to be under the misconception that there is something wrong with you, that there is nothing special about you. There is nobody else in the whole world that I would rather be with. I could look at you for hours and never get sick of it. I could spend every second of everyday in your presence and I would die a happy man. You belong with me," he finished as he gave the chains of my swing another tug, dragging me even closer as he kissed me.
ummm... YEAH!
So, if you haven't read this book you totally need to go out there and buy it!!

Until Next Time: The Angel Chronicles, Book 1 by Amy Lignor

eBook
ISBN: 9780983741855
ISBN: 9781465992697
Pages: 295
Release: February 1, 2012

How does a girl choose between the one who steals her heart and the one who owns her soul?

Matt and Emily were created for a specific job. Raised and trained as the ultimate angel/warrior team, they are sent down to save, defend, judge and forgive, depending on the 'life' they've been assigned. What they don't realize is that the power of human emotions, such as love, anger, passion and fear can take over even the best of souls, causing them to make mistakes and follow paths that lead to confusion and heartache.

When the reason for their training is finally revealed, the angel/warrior team find themselves thrust into a world they know nothing about. Matt takes over the life of Daniel, a young man with a great deal of baggage. Emily becomes Liz, a girl living in a remote village who relies on nothing more than her own strength to survive. A violent storm erupts one night, and framed in the window of Liz's establishment is a frightening face. Let in by the soul of a Good Samaritan, the two visitors bring with them a past full of secrets that could literally change an angel's path and a warrior's plans.

From murder to redemption, this angel/warrior team must find a way to keep the faith they have in each other in a world that's ripping them apart.

Traitor by Megan Curd *Review*

ebook
Published March 17th 2012
Ashlyn never believed in fairy tales until she was in one.

They say ignorance is bliss, but not when you're on a centuries old hit list...and there's a traitor in your midst.

Ashlyn must decide what's most important: trusting the allies she has, or siding with those she thought were enemies. Ashlyn knows old friends can turn on her, and unlikely allies may be the best chance she has to piece her family back together. No matter what her choice, she could lose someone she loves.

And when you don't know who to trust, believe one thing: You can never trust a faerie.

About the Author

Review

Welcome to the second book in the Bridger series... Buckle up it's a wild ride!  The story continues as Ashlyn continues to discover things about her and the world around her.  It is so well written that you find yourself submersed into the world Megan has created, and you won't want to leave it! Adventure, Love, Truths, and of course traitors... all in one word... Captivating!

Ashlyn... she really grows in this book. Her relationship with Liam is tested and she is trying to learn and control new powers. The poor girl is really put through it this time :) She has to learn who to trust and it's not a given who that is. While tryin to save the ones she and her family loves...it gets bumpy!

Reece... Oh I adore him! He is a great best friend and something great happens to him this go round! Let me just say I have mad respect for this boy!

Liam... *sigh* I love him... he is always there for Ashlyn even when he shouldn't be. He tries hard to make her feel protected even if she ends up saving/helping him, it's so sweet. Of course he's a guy and he reacts to some things just the right way..instead of oh ok no problem... he actually has guy moments and says I'm pissed!

Memaw is one kick ass lady! Assassin faerie and grandmother all rolled into one. She has some things up her sleeve but hey she is a faerie after all... and as it says no one should trust a faerie!

There are somethings that will make you look like woody over here! I love when a story has me do that!

You should really get this and delve into the Bridger world. Great characters, amazing story and more!!

Devour by Shelly Crane *Review*

ebook
Published October 31st 2011 (first published October 28th 2011

Clara has it all. A wrestling star boyfriend, popular friends, all the right school activities...pretty much a perfect life...up until her parents died. Now she lives with the Pastor and his family and though they take good care of her, she feels alone. Then her boyfriend, Tate, starts to show signs of trouble when a new guy, Eli, comes to town. Clara is fascinated with him but hides it until something happens. Eli confesses to her that she gives him something he's never had before...something he needs. Everything is about to change for this normal pretty popular girl in a supernatural way.

First off, I won this book from Mandy @ Twimom 101 Book Blog So big huge Thank you!!

If you don't know by now... I love everything about Shelly Crane's Books!  With that being said ...  This is what I look like when I get one of her books!!

Review:

When I got this book I did not read the blurb *again you should know I do this often* Love to just see how the story plays out. So, I was fascinated by this story. We start with Clara who seems to have a Great life with an all american boyfriend, spirit squad and best friends. Well, it's not as great as it looks.

Clara... What an amazing character she is. She is stuck in this place in her life until she meets Eli and then things start changing for the better. You can see amazing growth from her, she was already a well rounded character but she gets even better. Her journey throughout is gripping and I cannot explain it all as I don't want to give anything away :)

Eli... Oh here is another Awesome guy from the one and only #QueenOfSwoon! His story is just engrossing and he is an absolutely fascinating character! He's lived his whole life one way and then BAM! it's all flipped upside down for Clara. Such a great fit the two of them are! *found cool guy here on the net*

The "friends" hmmm I just really didn't like them and wanted to choke most of them... which means they were just well written too. I really did enjoy Patrick!! Can I just say I need more like right now!!  Again... If you haven't read this.. put it on your list your gonna want to GET IT NOW!

Defiance by Shelly Crane * Review*

Kindle Edition
Published March 8th 2012
ASINB007IUBRW0

In the third installment of the Significance series, we begin with Maggie and Caleb in the clutches of a new enemy; the Virtuoso council. Not only do they have to deal with the consequences of taking the lives of the Watsons and the council attempting to take Maggie away to keep their precious Visionary safe, but they must deal with Marla as well. All are determined to undermine, control and use Caleb and Maggie's rare gifts for their own uses, some wish to destroy them entirely. Then Maggie's father and Bish are threatened but the council forbids the presense of humans. Peter and the family fight and stand beside them every step of the way to save Maggie's father, to keep Caleb and Maggie together when the corrupted council is so set on keeping them apart and to stop Marla and whatever she has up her sleeve. Then Maggie has the shock of her life when she discovers something about her real father. It may change everything for everyone. Stay tuned as the story continues.
Ok and before we get to the Review .... here are all the Beautiful covers lined up ... prepare for YUMMY!

 *Sigh*

Review
First off let me tell you... there will be gushing... I won't be able to NOT! This series had me hooked in the first chapter of the first book. It is complete Swoony goodness!! This go round Maggie has to deal with being thrown in with her and Caleb's people, plus deal with being the Visionary. There is mystery, action, and tons of Romance!!

I have now labeled Shelly the Queen of Swoon.

She knows how to write amazing characters and Defiance is no exception. Caleb is AMAZING...without losing his "manliness" so to say. Maggie is everything to him and he knows how to show her she is. Seriously one scene I literally re-read 3 times...let me just say boxer briefs... *swoon*

Maggie is an awesome girl! Same goes with her, Caleb is her world and she shows him that he is. She is tough, smart, and really down to earth. That is what these people need too, a shot of Maggie!

We are introduced to a lot more family and I have to say though that not all of them are awesome.. several times I wanted to choke the life out of some of them LOL.

All in all I want to Shout out to everyone.. If you haven't read Shelly Crane...WHY??? You must read this series it is unbelievably good! and I want to shower Shelly with hugs and confetti!!

Some Things are Pretty. Some Things are Black. Love is both.

[Ellie Piper]

She wanted to die. He arose from the grave. He was sent to kill her. She was trained to kill those of his kind. But fate had other plans. He searched for 119 years to find her. & There's no way in hell he's letting her go. Dead or Alive. They're fated.

[Marcus Marble]

How far would you go to be with the one you love? Would you die for her? Would you kill for her? What if the only reason you're still alive is because of her? What if the reason you came back from the dead, was to be with her? But what if your job was to kill her, but you fell in love instead? And now you're being hunted by your own kind?

Destroy? Or be Destroyed?

Black Satin

[May 28, 2012 release date]

What if you weren’t who you thought you were?
What if your whole life changed in an instant and you were released to a new identity?

What if you were forced to kill the one you love?
What if everything you knew wasn’t real, and you awaken to a new world?

What if love could take you to unknown places?

How beautiful is death really?

Marcus Marble has disappeared from Ellie’s life, and she needs answers to questions and he’s the only one who can answer them.

How is her sister back from the dead, and why is Ellie still alive?

When Ellie realizes Marcus isn’t coming back, she is forced to move on with her life the best way she can, in hopes of finding the answers herself, but when people at school begin to be viciously murdered, and Giles reveals to her a life changing secret, she decides to investigate the possible truth of it. What she discovers is more than she thought she would.

The only time Ellie feels normal is when she’s around Walter, the new guy at school. And normal is how she wants to feel, now that Marcus is gone from her life.

But Walter may not be all that he seems, either, and she just might spiral in to an even more dark world, she never thought possible.

And when it occurs to her that Marcus has made the decision to pass on through to the afterlife, during the Risorgimento, she races against time to stop him, while knowing she has feelings for Walter, too.

Will she make it in time to stop Marcus from passing through, and if she does, what will she tell Walter?

Her heart will have to make the final decision.

But will the choice be worth dying for?

The Night Watchman by J.L. Manning

The Night Watchman

This story takes place in any city where there is street crime, street racing, and underground fighting. There is a young man that was in acar accident as a child and was left with physical limitations. Over these years a speech impairment made him want to withdraw from society, because of how people now saw him left him lonely.

About J.L Manning:
J.L. Manning authored "Changing the Little Things" in 2010  He has self-published three books through Authorhouse.com that have not been getting the attention that they deserve.  The first book that he published was about Mars in the not too distant future. "The New Mars" is about vacationing on Mars. He wrote two more books that are connected to the first book about Mars, but they are not sequels.
The first book was published Dec. 14, 2006 by a pay to publisher, as were all six of these books.  Now that he has some experience, in writing good books, he is looking for a mainstream publisher to get these and future books the attention they deserve.  He did self-publish "The Night Watchman" with Publish America. He republished "Paradise Island" with Tate Publishing.  "Changing the Little Things" is his most recently published book. by Trafford Publishing.  He has many ideas for new books that he is hoping will sell.
He dreams a lot about places to get away to and doing things that he's not capable of doing.  His books help people imagine being at these places and doing the things that he writes about.
