1 Year Blogoversary Day 18 with Megan Curd Q & A with Giveaway

Welcome to day 18, I have with me Author of Bridger and Forbidden...
Megan Curd

Thank you Megan for taking a moment and joining me for the Celebration!

SG: When did the idea for Bridger come to you?

MC: I had a friend who kept encouraging me to try my hand at writing, so finally I gave in and agreed to try it. I remember calling my mom and telling her my idea, and that I needed something to write about. That night we Googled "cool legends" and found the Irish folklore that became the bedrock of Bridger. It's been a blast studying up on the different kinds of fae in the Irish legends, and I hope I do it justice!

SG: Can you describe it to us in a Tweet?

MC: Bridger: These ain't your momma's Tinkerbell faeries.

SG: Is this a planned trilogy or will there be more than that?

MC: For now it's a trilogy, but I have a novella from Memaw's perspective started, and I'll have a lot of different characters to build off of, should my readers want to have more. There may be four books, but who knows. :)

SG: Where is your number one place you want to visit in the World, that you haven't already?

MC: Well, I had the extreme blessing to get to travel quite a bit before I got married. My favorite places I've visited would be Rome, Italy and Quito, Ecuador, but I'd love to see London, Paris, and Bejing before I get too old and decrepit. :)

SG: Do you have any pets? if so what kind. If not what kind would you like to have?

MC: I have one dog, Stella. She's a Great Dane, and we've actually had little kids ask if she was a pony, so maybe I have a horse! haha

This or That

Jeans or dresses?

Jeans. I don't own a dress...it's against my religion. :)

City girl or Country girl?

City by far!

Eat in or Dine out?

Depends, but usually I'm fine heating up some soup and writing in my office. :) If I go out, though, I love Red Lobster and Bubba Gump's. Love me some seafood!

Movies at home or Movie at the theater?

Depends on how badly I want to see the movie. :) Usually I'm a homebody and will make a big comfy area with some pillows and a blanket and curl up for a movie at home.

Car or Truck?

Well personally, I love really fast cars...but since I've had my son, I need something with a bit more room. Can I say SUV? I have a Scion xB right now, so it's kinda a toaster on wheels and neither a car or a truck, but I love it!

Again, Thank you so much Megan!

Review of Forbidden by Megan Curd

Kindle Edition
Published October 22nd 2011

From Goodreads:
Levi's job is to protect his human until it's their time to go. That's what a Guard does. He's done it for years on end, and he'll spend his eternity doing the same, mundane thing, following the same, mundane rules.

...Watch from afar.
...Never share your name.
...And above all, never touch a human.

What Levi doesn't know is that his newest human to protect, Hannah, just might be the catalyst to tipping the scales between good and evil, and he will be forced to decide which side he belongs to. Which friends will he side with, and who will he ultimately protect: his human, or the delicate balance that hangs on stopping the heartbeat of the person he has sworn to protect?

And, when you're already condemned, what's there to lose by breaking the rules?

THE GUARDIAN CHRONICLES: FORBIDDEN will take you into a world of Guards and Guardians, Light and Darkness. What side will you take?

Review: 5x5 *with some fallen angel hotness thrown in*

I will probably  go a little fangirl on this review because I totally fell in love! First off you get not 1 but 2 Fallen hotties *umm squeee* Along with a totally cool Hannah and her bestie Angela and all kinds of fun thrown in.

Levi *swoon* is a Fallen but his job is a Guard. He got too close to his Call Hannah and things start getting good! He cannot feel and yet he starts getting those back with her. Levi is an awesome character you will fall for him instantly, and the whole book is from his POV which is in itself refreshing. I love books from a guys POV!! You get to take his journey with him and his attitude and actions are swoon worthy. I would also like to point out that he is not at all cheesy or flaky!!

Ethan is one badass fallen! he is totally fun to read! He is a snarky smarty pants who just tells it like it is! Some of my fave lines in the book came from him.

The story is just an epic tale and I cannot wait for more of The Guardian Chronicles!!
