Kimberly has taken a moment to answer some questions for the followers...
SG: What is your favorite line from your book The Pledge? *see not at ALL hard LOL*
KD: “I loved voices, I always had. Words held meaning, but voices held emotion.”
SG: Do you enjoy traveling, and if so what is the farthest you have been away from your home?
KD: I enjoy it in small doses. I’m embarrassed to admit that I haven’t been very far. I live in Seattle, and Hawaii, Florida, and New York are probably the farthest I’ve been. Sad, I know, but I hope to change that soon!
SG: Do you have any pets?
KD: Yes! We have one dog (a golden retriever named Alex), and are walking that fine line of becoming crazy cat people with three cats.
SG: If you could only take one book with you on Vacation what would it be?
KD: I think it would be To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. It’s the only book I re-read every few years. Best. Book. Ever!
This or That....
Eat in or Dine Out?
Eat in (see below)...
Movie Theater or Rent a Movie?
Rent a movie and eat that take out I ordered with my family. Can you say “homebody”???
Cheesecake or Cheesecake? *oh wait there's not an option :)*
Mmm, cheesecake. Can I get that with a side of cheesecake, please?
High Heels or Sneakers?
I admittedly have short-girl complex, so I do love me some high heels on occasion. But I have to go with sneakers for the win! (Even better when paired with sweatpants.)
Kimberly, Thank you so much for taking time out of your super busy schedule to chat with me!
I have some goodies for you! Bookmarks, stickers, and a Signed Poster from The Pledge!! Fill out the Raffle Copter to enter and giveaway is International *confetti*

From Goodreads:
In the violent country of Ludania, the classes are strictly divided by the language they speak. The smallest transgression, like looking a member of a higher class in the eye while they are speaking their native tongue, results in immediate execution. Seventeen-year-old Charlaina has always been able to understand the languages of all classes, and she's spent her life trying to hide her secret. The only place she can really be free is the drug-fueled underground clubs where people go to shake off the oppressive rules of the world they live in. It's there that she meets a beautiful and mysterious boy named Max who speaks a language she's never heard before . . . and her secret is almost exposed.
Charlie is intensely attracted to Max, even though she can't be sure where his real loyalties lie. As the emergency drills give way to real crisis and the violence escalates, it becomes clear that Charlie is the key to something much bigger: her country's only chance for freedom from the terrible power of a deadly regime.
Review: 5x5 Be prepared to take the Pledge! In a land where Queens rule all! I was swept away into this society where classes are clearly defined by the language you can speak and understand. I really enjoyed every aspect of this book! The story is well written and very clever. I could see myself there where Charlie (MC) was. Pacing is great I didn't feel rushed or like anything was dragging at anytime.
The characters are all very well written. Charlie is just a vendor girl with a unique gift. She knows how to stay in her place and keep her and her family safe. *I totally loved her little sister also!* When she meets Max she feels something for him and him for her. We soon learn he has his own secret. I was smitten with Max. This was not a clear love at first sight kinda deal but as a girl I know that feeling when you meet a guy and you are drawn to him no words needed.
GET This on Nov. 15th when it comes out you will love the world and the characters! Well done Kimberly, well done!
