Release by M.R. Merrick COVER REVEAL**

RELEASE SYNOPSIS
After uniting the shifters and calling in reinforcements, Chase has to face his toughest challenge yet: learning to  control his emotions. But as tensions rise and his powers grow, controlling his emotions becomes the least of his problems.

Terrorized by a multi-shifter who is hell-bent on turning him, Chase questions just how far he’s willing to go to stop his father.  Meanwhile, Tiki’s virtuous nature has placed him in the middle of Vincent’s past, leaving Chase to oppose a senate of vampires and defend a demon he hates.

Trying to balance his friends, his enemies, and his inner demons, Chase is left searching for answers about the Mark, his destiny, and where he can find the next soul piece. Stopping Riley is his top priority, but as more obstacles arise, he finds himself doubting all the decisions he’s made - especially regarding Rayna.
One thing is for certain: Chase has finally realized that he doesn’t know anything. The light doesn’t always quell the darkness, the monsters don’t always stay in the shadows, and the past doesn’t always stay in the past - sometimes, the demons inside are the hardest to fight.

**Review** Shift by M.R. Merrick...Simply Amazing!

Devastated by the loss of his mother, Chase is trying to balance the life he’s been left with, a family he’s still getting to know, and power he never thought he’d have. He doesn’t understand why the Goddess has named him the Protector and granted him two gifts: the Mark, a tattoo that now covers his back, and the ring. But between getting interrogated by the Circle and psychic attacks from Riley, the Mark is the least of his concern. There’s a demon inside Rayna that’s fighting to be released, and it’s not her inner witch. It’s something else–a monster threatening to tear her apart.

As Chase struggles to control his magic, his enemies are closing in. Everyone has staked a claim on his ring, and destroying it may be his only chance to stop Riley. But Chase must decide if stopping him is worth risking the lives of everyone he cares about, or if protecting the ring will be enough to save his world.

This was what I did when Shift showed up in my inbox!! For good reason.. if you haven't read Exiled I have one word for ya.. WHY???

Review:

Ok so after my squeee fest... I dug in! The world Matt has created is still just as amazing. Everything flowed together as well as in Exiled. Chase has been left devastated and he must try and move forward and understand his power. This was an amazing continuation. Loads of action, mysteries, and some discoveries!

Chase is a mess. He's lost his mother, has powers that keep growing and he has no way to know what to do with them or who he can turn to. His relationships are pushed and tested and you can see him grow in this book.

Rayna... Oh I love this chick! She is all badass!! She is on the brink of shifting but into what? While she is a strong female character you get a look into the doubts and fears she does have. Her relationship with Chase is changing.. and it's a good change :)

Marcus is a strong presence in Chase and Rayna's life. He wants to protect them and help them in anyway he can. We also learn a little more of his past!

Willy!!! Oh he is going through major changes in this book. He is awesome from his chameleon skin to his shyness. He goes through Major "shifts" this go round. He grows as a character and I was so excited to see it!

Ok so I love love love this and recommend it to EVERYONE!

It's official! One year of Blogging down for me. I really cannot believe it has been that long. It feels like it's been months.

When I set out to start this blog I was doing this for my friends in real life *hey I have a couple of those*. What are you reading now? What have you read lately that has been really great? I thought I need a place to put all this so they can come see. So I started SupaGurl Books, I use SupaGurl as my online presence and have for years... Why might you ask well... I am a MOM you have to be super to do that everyday! My love for Supernatural also came into play. I have mad, mad love for that show the hubbs and I started watching it from the pilot and yeah I was lost to it. Yeah ok so now that I have bored you with that little tid bit of info LOL.. Here are some things I wanted to mention on my 1 year.

First to all my blogger buddies:

Thank you to all of you who have answered questions, helped me out and basically been really awesome people! A few in particular are Andrea from The Bookish Babes , April from Sim~Sational~Books , and Rachel from Fikshun and all her other blogs lol. Dee from GoodChoice Reading These girls are amazing and I am so glad I have gotten to know each of them.

The book blogging community is made up of amazing people. Each of them go into blogging for different reasons but we all have major love for books and the people that write them. I for  one have learned to spread the word far and wide on the web and exactly how to do that. We all want people to read and enjoy the great books that we read.

For all and I mean All amazing Authors:

Before I started blogging I would read and be like oh WOW that was great! My husband would let me talk to him about it *sometimes rolling his eyes... alot* Now though I get to jump on the net, hit up facebook or twitter and chat up the authors about this great story I just read. These people are freaking Great!! Before this year I have never met an author before, this year I have got to meet Charline Harris, Myra McEntire, Victoria Schwab, Jessica Workman, and just recently The Cassandra Clare!! Who have all been absolutely yes, you guessed it amazing in person! These people all spend their time writing the stories we all love then they also, take tons of time to talk to everyone on twitter and or facebook. Myra McEntire  is the funniest person ever *I have told her this but she doesn't believe me* Victoria Schwab is super sweet and very funny also *She was also super sweet to my 9 yr old son when we met her*. Jeri Smith-Ready is always on her game and willing to answer questions and interact. Cassie Clare is forever answering questions too. Maureen Johnson is well .. there are no words to describe her LOL!

I am just really glad I got into this so that I can interact with all these authors and more!

Exiled by Matthew Merrick - Review

From Goodreads:
234 pages
Published July 1st 2011 by M.R. Merrick

Chase Williams is a demon hunter in the Circle, or at least he was supposed to be. Failing to develop any elemental magic on his fifteenth birthday left him exiled in a world full of half-demons, and no hunters to protect him.

When Chase discovers the Circle's plan to unlock a portal and unleash pure-blood demons into the world, he vows to stop them. Knowing he can't do it alone however, he accepts help from Rayna, a sexy witch with an attitude and a secret.

As the pair attempt to stop the Circle, Chase realizes working with a demon is only half the battle. When they find themselves in the middle of the Circle's plan, it leaves one of them to decide what their friendship is worth, and the other's life depending on it.

Review: 5x5

WOW! Let me just say that I totally loved this story!! You have demon hunters, demons, witches, warlocks, halfies, and The Circle. This is an action packed thrill ride that will blow your socks off.

Chase, well he is just an intense character! He is fiercely loyal to his mother and slowly comes to trust some others. He has a great personality and you will like him instantly!  Chase' mother has the same great personality as her son or should I say he gets that from her? They are on their own and it's her and him always.

Step in Rayna, she throws a wrench in his life, but in a good way. She is an amazing character and I can't wait to see more of her!

The story line is a great original spin on things and takes you at a fast pace. The world building is spot on and the world created will leave you in awe. Get this book NOW and enjoy the ride!!
