Uncontrollable by S.R. Johannes Tour Stop

Uncontrollable

by S.R. Johannes
Release Day September 24th 2012
As Grace recovers from tragedy, her science class is chosen by Agent Sweeney at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to help with research on the new "Red Wolf Reintroduction Program".

While she’s excited about helping with the conservation of the endangered wolves, Grace knows this means being outdoors in the worst winter recorded, in a place she no longer feels comfortable. It also means working closely with Wyn (her ex) and his annoying girlfriend (Skyler), a girl whose idea of getting close to nature is picking silk plants and growing fake plants.

After a couple of wolves show up dead, Grace almost quits. However, when a fellow project team member goes missing, Grace continues the assignment under a renewed suspicion that someone might be sabotaging the conservation program. She quietly begins to hunt for clues.

Little does she know, she is being hunted too.

Review :

Let's start with the cover : It's Beautiful! and perfectly fits with the series! Vania has done a wonderful job on both this one and the Untraceable cover I heart them so much :)

S.R. Johannes does an amazing job of weaving this story into something incredible ... Where I loved the first one for the same reason, this story steps it up a notch. I love how she makes it so that you questions EVERYONE! I never know who is good and who is not. When I come to the conclusion that one thing is going on... BAM I'm left with your mouth hanging open and thinking that was masterful!

Grace : She is still reeling with everything she has lost... but she is trying to get back into her life. She throws herself into a project thinking this will help. There is nothing about her that I don't like. She is a strong female character with flaws and all. She is a quick thinker and protects her friends/family with all she has.

The other characters are amazing all in their own ways. None of them are "flat" they are each well developed throughout the story.

I went as I was reading feeling all the things that Grace did... from her overwhelming sadness from having lost 2 men that she loved to all the terrifying things she has to deal with. I cannot tell you much more without giving all the things away, and you know I just won't do that :)

GET THIS if you Love/like Romance, Intrigue, suspense or adventure... roll them all together and you have
Uncontrollable!

Uncontrollable by SR Johannes *Guest Post* GIVEAWAY

Hey! Today on the Blog Tour I have for you an amazing Guest Post from SR Johannes!

Come back by on Sept. 20th when I will be doing my Review for Uncontrollable, I love Love this book and this series.

Did you have one scene that played out more in your mind when you started writing Untraceable and Unspeakable?

Any time I write the book plays out in my head as a movie so I am really capturing it as it plays.

When I was first writing Untraceable, the scene that first stuck out in my mind was when Grace first comes upon the camp. It’s what she has been searching for the whole time, what she’s been obsessed with. But when she finally finds it, it struck me how deep down maybe she wished she hadn’t.

I find sometimes the thing we want the most isn’t always the best thing. That’s what that scene always reminded me of. Those things in our life we struggle and work so hard for only to find out they hurt us more than they make us happy.

In Unspeakable, I wanted to understand who Mo was. This was the hardest piece for me to write because I found I did not know Mo unless he was with Grace or seen through her eyes. That short story took me way too long to write. The first version he was boring. The second version he was creepy. The scene that struck me the most was when he is watching Grace be attacked. There is that moment I think we all have where we see something and we wonder if we should get involved. Even though it’s right too, the fear step sin and holds us back. The fear in Mo was interesting to me. Exploring that
