Welcome to Day 4 of Addison Moore week!! If you have made it this far with us, We have talked to Marshall, Logan and Addison...Today we will hear from *gasp* Chloe... Dunnnn dunnn duuuuunnnnn!!!

Character Interview: Chloe Bishop


AM- Wow, I’m really glad to speak with you today. You’ve amassed quite the reputation on the island as the wicked mean girl. Any truth to these rumors?


Chloe – I guess it would depend who you trusted. If you asked my friends I think they would count me as loyal and forgiving. If you talked to my enemies they would suggest otherwise. If you talked to Skyla Messenger she would tell you her version of the truth, but she only knows part of the story.


AM- What do you mean she only knows part of the story? Doesn’t she know that you were responsible for more than one tragedy in her life? Isn’t that enough?


Chloe – It’s enough if you that’s all you’re interested in. She replaced me in more ways than one, but I have my methods of dealing with people like that.


AM- So you’re not done with her? You’ve already taken from her the two people she loved most.


Chloe – Have I? Or does she love herself the most?


AM – What motivates you? Power, love? 


Chloe – I have both. What motivates me is hatred. Hatred is the one constant in my life that I can count on. 


AM- Shouldn’t you rely on love—focus your attention on kindness and forgiveness?


Chloe – That’s for the weak, the powerless. 


AM- I’ve come to understand that you have an affection for Gage and yet you’re with Ethan Landon. How does that work for you?


Chloe – Gage. (Malevolent smile) Gage and I have an understanding. Ethan (averts eyes) I need him to trust me, and he does. 


AM-  Who do you see yourself marrying, raising a family with?


Chloe – (Takes a breath at the thought) I will marry Gage. 


AM-  You seem fairly confident about this. 


Chloe – I don’t waste my time on doubt. 


AM- What are your thoughts on Skyla? Who do you think she might be most likely to spend her life with?


Chloe – Skyla? I hope Skyla burns. I’d like to arrange for that myself. I think a nice bath in lighter fluid and a match would do her some good. In fact, she can give Logan and that Sector she has wrapped around her vagina both a nice long hug in the process. Now there’s a sight I’d pay to see, record it so I can watch it over and over. 


AM- Sounds like a felony in the making.  Tell me one more thing about yourself, something that would surprise the world if they new it.


Chloe – I have a secret. 


AM- I thought you might. Feel like divulging?


Chloe – I’ll never tell. But you will, won’t you? I hope you go to hell. 


AM- On that note, I think this interview is over. 

WOW, she is even a bitch to Addison... I wonder if A needed a drink after that one? LOL she gets me to...

Review

1st - some of my fave quotes from this book... "Marshall, a.k.a. Studley Dudley" sorry this was funny to me :)  

and then..."I contemplate the finer skills I've picked up since moving to the island-liar, cheat, thief, oh yeah-murderer. At least Paragon is molding me into a well-rounded asshole." Oh how I love Skyla!

Chloe's diary is in Skyla's hands now... Oh WOW! This is highly telling as to what kind of person Chloe really is. Skyla gets into reading it and just cannot stop. She's finding out all kinds of juicy details about Everyone.  

We get more into what makes a Celestra and kinda what the Sectors are all about...One in particular. I loved this one there is suspense, Love, mystery and more! 

The boys: Logan and Gage are both working hard to steal Skyla's heart for themselves. Gage plays the passive Love letting her choose because he KNOWS its going to be him. Logan is fighting for her at every turn while keeping secrets from her. 


Skyla: Poor girl she has 3 guys who are professing their love for her so what's a girl to do when your heart is in love with all 3 ... kinda. I love how Addison does this... a normal teenage girl can totally love more than 1 person, I know I did then. She is being torn 3 different ways and dealing the best she can. Each time she tries to help it gets screwed up in the most major way.....again glad to see that everything is not "perfect" all the time cause lets face it nothing in life is that way.


Marshall.... oh how I love to hate him!! This go round he has Skyla kissing him so she can share in his visions of what is coming ... and yeah that's all Imma say about that :(

Welcome to Day 3 of Addison Moore week here at SupaGurl Books! Today is Q&A time with Addison... It's all about her!

So before we get started I just want to share that in her books... some ok ok MOST of her kissing scenes leave you feeling amazing! Some are intense! Some are so sweet... Here are a few examples of what I see when I read :) 

*Sigh* ok ok .. Now All About Addison continues...


Today I am "meeting" up with Addison Moore to ask her some questions. I walk into the coffee shop looking for her *ok not really her I'm totally looking for Logan or Gage*. I spot a booth with her waiting. *dashes to booth*

SG : Hey! so sorry your waiting on me... want some coffee or are you ready to get started? *still looking around for the boys*

A: I'd love some coffee. Strong with lots of flavored creamer. Might as well make it worth it, right? Anyway, I'm SUPER excited to be here today! This entire week has me buzzing. Those character interviews were a serious blast to do.

SG: *hands you your coffee* I know I just want to say AGAIN cause I know I've said it before.... I love The Celestra Series! *giggles* No really I love everything about it. Can you tell me where you came up with the idea for it all?

A: Wow, thank you! I'm so glad you're loving it. I really have a good time when I'm writing and I always hope that will carry over to the reader. As for how I came up with it I sort of morphed two older ideas I had. One was a YA series about a group of kids who lived on an island, and the other was a story about girl who was seeing her guardian angel. I was getting pretty frustrated with both projects so I thought why not morph those ideas together? And I think it worked. 

SG: Dude! that is cool :) I love hearing how authors come up with their stories. *Glances around for the 15th time* Ok, did Logan and Gage not come with you? *huffs* Alright, Now let's let everyone know a little about you, like what is that you do in your spare time? Do you actually have any of that?

A: Oh, I do--and guess what? I write! I'm a writer and all a writer ever does is think about their stories. I plot while I do the dishes, jot down notes at red lights, and I'll look for new cover ideas while on the treadmill. I always have a pen and paper handy to write even the silliest thing that might come to mind because magically those things have a way of disappearing from memory fairly quickly. The shower and just before falling asleep are a minefield of ideas. Go figure.

SG: *Laughs* Ok now I can see that you totally have a notebook and pen hanging outside your shower. Are you hungry? I'm getting a little hungry .... What is your favorite snack food? Just FYI mine is cheesecake.

A: I am a sucker for cheesecake!! I might have to say ice cream is one of my favorite go-to food groups, and of course cheesecake ice cream is a perfect combination. Oh, and I die a little each time I take a bite of chocolate. It's killing me softly with ecstasy. Did I just go there?

SG: *bounces in the chair a bit* OH WAITER!! 2 slices of cheesecake over here!! *leans in* I really love cheesecake.... So when you were younger what type of guy did you go for, and does that translate into any of your guy characters? Wait... does that even make sense? What I mean is are any of the guys ya know your "type" of guy. *rolls eyes* You get what I mean right? ..... Addison please don't look at me like I'm insane LOL

A: OK, here's the problem, I do love me some Logan alpha male action, but I'm a sucker for the sweet sensitive type that might be prone to write a poem or two on paper or with his lips, such as Gage. Decisions, decisions.. lol! I think if I had to choose between Logan, Gage and Marshall it would be impossible, but I think, for me personally, Marshall would win out at the end of the day. We'd make quite a pair. And, I can only imagine what would happen behind closed doors.

SG: *debates whether I think Addison is still cool or not* Marshall ... really? Ok I can totally see about the behind closed doors thing. Yeah I agree about Logan and Gage though... sigh... I couldn't choose between them if they were in front of me. *I will just have them both HA Haaa* Here we are talking about those yummy boys again, this is supposed to be about you and I keep getting side tracked, so sorry. Oh I have one for ya! Let's say you've won an all expenses paid vaca to wherever you want to go *Awesome huh* Where do you go?

A: Hmm... Anywhere? Gah! Too many places to choose from. I might consider the moon because I'm betting it's pretty quiet up there and laundry isn't such a big deal, but I'm a sucker for the tropics so I'll say Hawaii. And no technology-free resort for me thank you very much. I'll need some good Wi-Fi wherever I'm at. Doesn't some facebook and a nice long nap on the beach sound perfect?

SG: Oh girl that sounds like .. yeah perfect... Dang I knew I was going to forget to ask you something... well do you read in all your glorious spare time? What kind of books are your faves? See, i love YA but man I also like a good steamy PRN too. OH OH you must read the Black Dagger Brotherhood if you haven't *rawr* LOL

A: Oh my gosh, you are the second person who told me that! I'll have to check out that series. I do read. I read tons. I read in and out of my genre. It depends what I'm in the mood for. I like humor but not every book I read has to have it. The very last book I read was M. Leighton's FRAGILE, and I just finished that today. The next book in my TBR pile is I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella.

SG: REALLY!!! you have to read them... I mean it should be like a freakin requirement that everyone who loves to read...read them. *Gets Dreamy eyes* Oh so sorry you get me talking about the Brothers and I'm lost :) kinda the way I feel about Logan and Gage! One more question then I will let you head out so that you can write some more yummy goodness for us all ;) Let's say Oh look you've won the lottery..... What is the FIRST thing you do?

A: The lottery... let's see...Well, after I squirrel away a nest egg for the fam, I'd most likely hop on a plane and test out my theory on whether or not a nice long nap on a Hawaiian beach is perfect. ;)

SG: Addison, I will let you run on now. *Stands up to leave* Thank you so much for taking the time to talk with me so that the readers can get to know you a little better. *Pounces on ya real quick like* *hugggs* Ha! Gotcha :) *waves* See ya around!!

Logan Oliver was kind enough to sit down with Addison and answer some questions... kinda *sigh*

In case you didn't figure this out already he's my Logan :) 

AM –Logan! It’s so nice to get a chance to speak with you away from all of the insanity that goes on in that island. How are things going with you?

Logan- Let’s see—my business is suffering, I gave up my girlfriend in an effort to protect her, and now we’re both victim to our worst nightmare, so I would venture to say not well.

AM- Sorry. (Slinks in her seat a little) Obviously I know what would make you happy, taking down the Counts and getting the girl, right? So let’s go in a different direction. Tell me something that you have never told anyone.

Logan – (Shifts uncomfortably) I guess, (swallows hard) I’ve never told anyone the real story behind the protective hedge—how my grandmother received it, how it came to be in my possession and why I gave it to Chloe in the first place. 

AM- Well? Spill!

Logan – Not today. I think if I ever do tell that story I owe it to Skyla first.

AM- Fair enough. What motivates you? 

Logan- My love for Skyla, the Celestra people. I know something (his features darken) something about the future that drives me to do whatever I can to ensure Skyla and I arrive there safe, but things can change in the ethereal plane and alter everything if we’re not careful.  

AM- What is it about the future that keeps you pressing forward at such a breakneck pace?

Logan – I don’t know everything but I see a future with Skyla. I see us together and we have a life. There’s another reason, a very beautiful reason, but I don’t know if we’ll ever get there. I’ll die trying if I have to. 

AM- Sounds pretty ambiguous. Let’s try something concrete. If you could move anywhere on the planet and do anything, where would you go and what would you do?

Logan – Easy—Paragon, run the bowling alley. It’s simple and both make me happy. 

AM- What about tackling Wall Street? Or living in Paris?

Logan- That’s not the dream for me. 

AM- What’s your greatest fear?

Logan – That I’ve caused all of this misery. That in my effort to save Skyla, I walked her into the greatest harm possible. That at the end of the day she’ll think I was a bigger monster than the Counts ever could be, and that she’ll wish she never knew me. 

AM- It breaks my heart to hear that. If you could change just one thing what would you alter? 

Logan – Simple. I’d steer her clear of Gage. (Gives a little laugh) But that wouldn’t have changed anything. I think both you and I know that destiny would have found a way.

AM- Do you believe destiny always finds a way? Even if the circumstances are impossible to conquer?  

Logan – Always. There is no separation from Skyla that can ever keep us apart. Our lives were meant to be together, I can feel it. Our love is pure, it’s right—this is our story. 

AM- Will you get your happy ending?

Logan- Yes. I will grab destiny by the reins and drag it there myself if I have to. 

AM- Sounds like a battle cry.

Logan- It should. It’s going to take a war to get there. 

***Logan...Logan....Logan I'm not sure what to do with him! That was a Fantastic Interview though!

Review

Wow! that is exactly how I felt when I got done with Tremble. There is a lot going on in this second book but, the author doesn't make it so that you can't keep up. The story line flows so well that you can tell whats going on and where. You get to delve deeper into this world and it's a great thing.  This is where I start to question... Everything and Everyone!

Skyla... I feel for her through out this one. She loves Logan, cares for Gage has to hide her relationship with Logan for her safety...and it all just spirals out of control for all involved. I really did enjoy reading how she felt and dealt with all the drama, emotions, and family throughout. She is put through some tough crap but keeps moving forward.

Gage... I really do love this boy. He is nothing but there for Skyla. You can tell by his actions and words that he is truly in love with her. Even though he knows her going out with him is all an act...he really feels for her and lets her know it. He also lets her know that he will give her time to work out how she feels. *sigh*

Logan... Ok I know he started rubbing me the wrong way in book one, well this one trumps that. I couldn't decide if he's just a really REALLY great actor or if he really is that big of an ass.  In "public" he all but destroys Skyla' feelings, then turns around and Loves her in private. I get the whole we can't be together...He just took it to a whole new level. This is about the time I want to see someone just Kick His ass, repeatedly :) but I still love him. I know it makes no sense but there it is.

Marshall is a new character and well... gah I'm not exactly sure what to make of him. Ok I don't like him at all. He is entertaining though :) I just know he is going to cause major trouble for all involved.

Chloe is well...I'm not sure. I think she is really sad about the way things are, but i cannot get a good feeling from her. I like that she is showing Skyla things about herself that the boys won't help her with. Then it's like bam I'm not sure if this is a good thing.

Just a side note... Skyla's family is just WOW... Tad is the biggest A-hole in the world and her sisters are giggly preteen girls and her stepbrother is the most normal calm one other than Skyla.

Emina somehow saves the day, “Huh, that’s pretty sweet.  You can shift as quickly as I can.”  I think that’s as close to a compliment that Emina’s ever given.  Lacey stands there smiling, hopefully no longer embarrassed about her gift.   To be honest, it’s pretty bad ass.  I mean, I wouldn’t want to go up against her.

I stand up to walk around her and admire her gift, “Why were you hiding this from us?  You look fierce!”

She shrugs, “It’s just that.  I look fierce.  Fierce doesn’t make friends.  And, in case you haven’t noticed, I’m kind of lacking in that area.”

Hugh moves towards us, “Lacey, you don’t need to worry about that, you’ve got friends here."

Hugh walks away, stopping next to Craig before reaching the stairs, and looks at him.  “We need to start working on combat moves in the morning.  You think you can handle that?”

Craig looks ecstatic, “Handle that?  I am all over it.”

“Perfect.  Then I think we’ve done all we can for one night.  I’ll see you in the morning .  Be ready to train.  I believe the elf, Shraida.  They will come for us soon.  We’re going to war.”

I can feel the tension in the room rise.  Lacey looks solemn, but Emina and Craig look strong.  For some reason I feel like they’ve been expecting this their whole lives, maybe even preparing for it, since they were children.

Welcome to Day 1 of Addison Moore Week!

Marshall was kind enough to do an interview with Addison.... and I have to say he is ... entertaining to say the least :)  So here they are!!

Character interview: Marshall Dudley

AM- I’ve dreamed about you.

Marshall- I’m sure you have. You’re not alone in your nocturnal yearnings. I’m willing to wager apparel was noticeably deficient.  

AM- Whoa! OK, this is a family show. Keep your innuendos to a minimum please.

Marshall- Minimum, maximum—it’s all rather an impossibility when this face is at the helm of your escape from reality. 

AM- It’s nice to see you have a healthy measure of self-confidence. What motivates you?

Marshall- Love. I have everything a being could ask for. I’ll have love and procure dominion.

AM- Just like that?

Marshall- Its been revealed through reliable sources. I’ve no reason to believe otherwise. Though my Love’s heart burns bright for another, I’ll abide by patience.

AM- Of what are you most proud?

Marshall- I know not pride. Should I embrace the vile attribute I’d be cast out of the kingdom proper. I was witness to the uprising—saw the wicked among my brothers fall like lightning out of heaven—exchange their beauty for a rather disastrous disfigurement. All those prideful I statements availed them nothing.         

AM- You’ve been a resident on Paragon for almost a year now, what would you consider to have been your most embarrassing moment?

Marshall- Shame? (Long thoughtful pause) I admit to being overzealous and perhaps recklessly indulgent with more than one willing female. It was all out debauchery— not my finest hour. 

AM- Have you met the person of your dreams?

Marshall – A fine young woman with exceptional bloodlines has taken my heart captive. 

AM- Would you love her if her bloodlines weren’t exceptional? 

Marshall – I’ve pledge my devotion to her for all eternity. I’ve made it a point to do whatever necessary to be available in whatever capacity she might need. The blood is a mute point but a valid attribute nonetheless.

AM- Word on the street is, she has other suitors. How does that make you feel?

Marshall – The bumbling Olivers? That incompetent duo needs more than fortune by their side to overcome both the faction war and the war they’ve enlisted their hearts in. I’d be slow to crown them suitors—more like irritants, a plague on the time spent between my love and I. Nothing more than a heartache, headache, take your pick.   

AM- So you’re not a fan.

Marshall – They are but a vapor. Once they dematerialize from Skyla’s life, she’ll be more focused on what really matters—me. 

AM- Well this was a ton of fun, but it’s going a bit long for a blog post. Would you like to do this again sometime?

Marshall – Not particularly. I prefer to have run of the facility if you please, the keys to the kingdom, full charge of every letter placement. 

AM- So you’d like to run the blog sometime? An entire post to yourself?

Marshall – A supervising spirit for the day if you will. I assure you I’d execute the challenge superbly.

AM- Sounds like a plan! Thank you for your time and perhaps I’ll see you in my dreams?

Marshall-   I’ll be sure to provide you with a good night, indeed. 

** I would just like to say I would love for Marshall to come be a "supervising spirit" for the day here on the blog... I cannot imagine the Trouble he would cause LOL

Review

Let me start out with I have MAD LOVE for this book! I started it and finished it in one day...I could not put it down. I walked and talked with my iPad the whole day. Once again I had NO idea what this was about or what was "supposed" to be going on b/c I didn't read the blurb :) I had a whole gang of tweeps tell me how good it was and went with it!

The story line is so fun... It's perfectly paced and interesting. I will tell you NOTHING about the plot b/c well that kinda ruins it all LOL You must read it and experience all that it has to offer!!

Skyla is a great character. She is dealing with loosing her dad and the accumulation of a "new" family. When they land on the island things get weird when she meets Logan and his friends. She is attracted to him *who wouldn't be* and he can do the same thing she can... hear peoples thoughts. She is complex and has the right tone for a teenager! She has those same hormonal issues all teens do. I've totally met someone and went 0.o I love him... then met someone else and did the same thing. I remember how that is! 

Logan, oh were to start with him? When I met him I was all oooohhhh Imma like him. Let me just tell you, I love how he is written. He is a complex character and I Adore that. As it was as the book went along something just rubbed me the wrong way with him, and I can't put my finger on it. Well then I could and ughh yeah I will get into it more with the other books. 

Gage.... Oh from the get go I LOVED him. He is confident, brave, and knows what he wants and how to go about getting it... although he does have some help in that area. I really loved him all the more as the book progressed. 

Brielle, Chloe... I am not sure what to make of them so far. Brielle is such a cool character that you want to instantly like her. Chloe, while I like her I'm wary... 

GET THIS!!! You will so not be disappointed!
