I'm so excited to be participating in Shelly Crane's Cover Reveal of The Other Side of Gravity!! So let's get to it....

 Title: The Other Side of Gravity
Author: Shelly Crane
Series: The Oxygen Series, Book One
Genre: Sci-Fi
Cover Reveal Date: August 27th
Release Date: TBA

Goodreads Link: http://bit.ly/1NTsnHw

My name is Maxton and I’m a trader.

I live on a soulless planet where gravity, oxygen, and everything else are sold to the highest bidder on the black market. People are sold on the black market, too. You have to work really hard not to become one of those people. Pay your taxes, keep your friends and family close, and more than anything else—don’t get caught by the Militia. But all the rules changed for me the day I found her.

My name is Sophelia and I’m a stowaway.
I’ve been a slave for almost as long as I can remember. Waiting for the one day, one second, for my proprietor to turn his head so I could run and never look back. Now I'm on the run. And on a planet where no one is on your side and people would turn you in for a good meal or a piece of a silver, being on the run on Landu is the last place you want to be. Until he found me.

I won't survive without him.

I can't breathe without her.

Shelly is a NEW YORK TIMES & USA TODAY
bestselling author from a small town in Georgia and loves everything about the
south. She is wife to a fantastical husband and stay-at-home mom to two boisterous
and mischievous boys who keep her on her toes. She hoards paperbacks, devours
sweet tea, searches year-round for candy corn, and loves to spend time with her
family and friends, go out to eat at new restaurants, site-see in the new areas
they travel to, listen to music, and, of course, loves to read, but doesn't
have much time to these days with all the characters filling her head begging
to come out. She is author to over twenty books and counting!

Her own books happen by accident and she revels
in the writing and imagination process. She doesn’t go anywhere without her
notepad for fear of an idea creeping up and not being able to write it down
immediately, even in the middle of the night, where her best ideas are born.

Revolution by Shelly Crane Tour Stop *Guest Blogger*

Welcome to the last day of the Revolution Tour *sad face*

Today though I have Guest Blogger Mercedes!! Who is absolutely a devout Shelly Crane Fan :)

Revolution : A Collide Novel
The final book in the series!!

Blurb:
In the fourth and final installment, everything is on the line. Merrick's life is in the balance and Lily is their only hope. Ellie and her new powers are miraculous, but also problematic; if she's with the bunker family, they won't be able to sense when the Lighters are there. There are many new members to the bunker and sparks will fly, and with the food shortage, they will all have plenty to deal with. Miguel is intrigued with Rylee, her past and her spunk. Ryan and Elli are barely scratching the surface of their relationship. Cain and Lillian will have to deal with Daniel, who has no qualms about showing his true feelings for her. And Sherry and Merrick…what will happen to this happenstance family who have worked so hard to come together? Can they all survive? Can they all withstand the new enemy that is right outside their door? Can they beat the Lighters, once and for all…

"*Extremely flushed and in complete "fan girl" mode*
I can't believe I have the opportunity to interview the AMAZING Shelly Crane. So, before I keep jumping and bouncing all around the room, let's get the show started.

 1. In your books we can enjoy different characters' POV. Which ones would you say are the easiest and hardest to write and why?

   I would say the female protag is the easiest for me. The other females in the books are definitely the hardest wot write, but I'm not really sure why.

2. If you have to choose, would you be an Ace, a Lighter or a Devoured?

   ACE!!! Hands down. Hello, Caleb....

3. I know this would be like asking which one of your children you love more but.. Do you have a favorite character? Could be one per series or in general.

   Sherry from Collide, Maggie from Significance, Eli from Devour.

4. If you were in a similar situation to Maggie's, (I mean being human and don't being able to get your "Significance's mark") would you decide to get a tattoo like she did?

   Yep!! I don't have any tattoos to date, but I'd love to get one.

5. What do you imagine yourself doing, if you weren't writing your (*ahem* incredible) books?

   I'd still be a stay at home mom.

6. Have you ever experienced any "writer's block"? If so, what did you do to get pass it?

   I get asked this alot and honestly, I've never had writer's block before. I don't foresee this either as ideas and book stuff are constantly invading my brain. I would have no idea what to do to pass it except just keep writing. Even if it's stupid or silly, just write until it makes sense again.

7. You always end your posts and wish your readers "happy endings", do you believe you've found yours?

   ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY! My husband is the best there is. We've been married for 11 1\2 years now, but I knew within a couple weeks of dating him I was going to marry that boy. And I did :) He is amazing.

(Now let's get random..)

 8. Have any of your dreams become true recently? (Besides The Vampire Diaries' new season coming soon.)

   Haha! Yes, Damon coming back into my living room will be a dream come true! :) But also, this whole...book thing. I never knew this was a dream of mine until I just kind of dove in. and now I'm here and I'm looking around baffled in aw of the amazing fans and authors I've gotten to hear from and know. I wonder if I'm still sleeping and I'll wake up one day ;)

9. Just a bunch of random.. Do you have: a favorite planet? a book boyfriend? a place in the world you can't wait to visit?

    Planet? Jupiter. I loved to go there, I think... Book Boyfriend? Callum from Callum & Harper by Fisher Amelie.... Place? Hawaii

10. I'd let you choose this one.. Is there anything in special you'd like your readers to know?

   That to call you amazing would be the understatement of the century. I read every comment, ever email, every review and pour over all of your words with a smile. Thank you for all that you've said and done for me. I TRULY appreciate you. Each and every one of you.

Review: Consume by Shelly Crane

Consume (The Devoured #2)

Eli and Clara's story continues as she tries to finish high school. Eli is as over protective as ever and Tate and his group of friends are no help. They wait for the Horde, always looking over their shoulder. But the ever annoying but strangely prophetic bird begins to become more of a chatter box and Eli learns something that could change some things. Not just for him and Clara, but Devourers everywhere.

Then an unexpected guest comes forcing Eli to flee with Clara, leaving her temporary family behind. She is thrown into his world of underground 'traitors' and learns much of his past. They meet many new people and creatures along the way to freedom. But when tragedy strikes the two, will Clara see the monster in Eli? Can she handle his strange world and awful past? Will one of them lose their life forever..

Want more? Yeah you know you do... Find Shelly on the web:

Review:

What a ride! This one is action packed and emotional. Eli and Clara are just getting over the horde attack and trying to get on with "normal". Eli is just as amazing as he was in Devour. He does everything in his power to help Clara and protect her from everyone and everything. I would love to get into his head sometime!

Clara... Oh this girl has it rough this time. She is sure of Eli but when others from his past come into play it makes her doubt. I like how Shelly uses "real" situations and plays them out. I could totally relate to what she was going through emotionally in this book.

Man at the cool creatures and such! We get to delve into the world that Eli is from and it is a wild ride. I am not one to spoil things but.... The Wall is the coolest place! There is Love, heartache, betrayal and most of all SWOON :)

If you haven't read Devour yet... WHY? get it then get Consumed!!

Devour by Shelly Crane *Review*

ebook
Published October 31st 2011 (first published October 28th 2011

Clara has it all. A wrestling star boyfriend, popular friends, all the right school activities...pretty much a perfect life...up until her parents died. Now she lives with the Pastor and his family and though they take good care of her, she feels alone. Then her boyfriend, Tate, starts to show signs of trouble when a new guy, Eli, comes to town. Clara is fascinated with him but hides it until something happens. Eli confesses to her that she gives him something he's never had before...something he needs. Everything is about to change for this normal pretty popular girl in a supernatural way.

First off, I won this book from Mandy @ Twimom 101 Book Blog So big huge Thank you!!

If you don't know by now... I love everything about Shelly Crane's Books!  With that being said ...  This is what I look like when I get one of her books!!

Review:

When I got this book I did not read the blurb *again you should know I do this often* Love to just see how the story plays out. So, I was fascinated by this story. We start with Clara who seems to have a Great life with an all american boyfriend, spirit squad and best friends. Well, it's not as great as it looks.

Clara... What an amazing character she is. She is stuck in this place in her life until she meets Eli and then things start changing for the better. You can see amazing growth from her, she was already a well rounded character but she gets even better. Her journey throughout is gripping and I cannot explain it all as I don't want to give anything away :)

Eli... Oh here is another Awesome guy from the one and only #QueenOfSwoon! His story is just engrossing and he is an absolutely fascinating character! He's lived his whole life one way and then BAM! it's all flipped upside down for Clara. Such a great fit the two of them are! *found cool guy here on the net*

The "friends" hmmm I just really didn't like them and wanted to choke most of them... which means they were just well written too. I really did enjoy Patrick!! Can I just say I need more like right now!!  Again... If you haven't read this.. put it on your list your gonna want to GET IT NOW!

Defiance by Shelly Crane * Review*

Kindle Edition
Published March 8th 2012
ASINB007IUBRW0

In the third installment of the Significance series, we begin with Maggie and Caleb in the clutches of a new enemy; the Virtuoso council. Not only do they have to deal with the consequences of taking the lives of the Watsons and the council attempting to take Maggie away to keep their precious Visionary safe, but they must deal with Marla as well. All are determined to undermine, control and use Caleb and Maggie's rare gifts for their own uses, some wish to destroy them entirely. Then Maggie's father and Bish are threatened but the council forbids the presense of humans. Peter and the family fight and stand beside them every step of the way to save Maggie's father, to keep Caleb and Maggie together when the corrupted council is so set on keeping them apart and to stop Marla and whatever she has up her sleeve. Then Maggie has the shock of her life when she discovers something about her real father. It may change everything for everyone. Stay tuned as the story continues.
Ok and before we get to the Review .... here are all the Beautiful covers lined up ... prepare for YUMMY!

 *Sigh*

Review
First off let me tell you... there will be gushing... I won't be able to NOT! This series had me hooked in the first chapter of the first book. It is complete Swoony goodness!! This go round Maggie has to deal with being thrown in with her and Caleb's people, plus deal with being the Visionary. There is mystery, action, and tons of Romance!!

I have now labeled Shelly the Queen of Swoon.

She knows how to write amazing characters and Defiance is no exception. Caleb is AMAZING...without losing his "manliness" so to say. Maggie is everything to him and he knows how to show her she is. Seriously one scene I literally re-read 3 times...let me just say boxer briefs... *swoon*

Maggie is an awesome girl! Same goes with her, Caleb is her world and she shows him that he is. She is tough, smart, and really down to earth. That is what these people need too, a shot of Maggie!

We are introduced to a lot more family and I have to say though that not all of them are awesome.. several times I wanted to choke the life out of some of them LOL.

All in all I want to Shout out to everyone.. If you haven't read Shelly Crane...WHY??? You must read this series it is unbelievably good! and I want to shower Shelly with hugs and confetti!!

1 Year Blogoversary Day 24 Shelly Crane Character Interview & Giveaway

Awesome Day 24 I bring you Author of ..
Significance, Accordance *Significance Series* Devour *Devoured Series* Collide, Uprising, Catalyst *Collide Series* & more
Shelly Crane

I would like to give it over to Shelly as she has a Character Interview with Caleb *swoon* take it away...

~~~~
Hi. I'm Shelly Crane, the author of the Significance series. Heather asked me to stop by and bring someone along for an interview.
Today, since you've heard so much from Maggie and her point of view, I thought you might like a taste of Caleb. Not a literal taste….a metaphorical but yet still yummy taste. I've invited him while Maggie is dealing with Virtuoso Council hypocrisy. So, he'll be here any min- Ah! Here he is!
Me: Caleb! Come on, sit. Everybody has been waiting.
Caleb: Really? (Rubs neck in embarrassment) Well, what did you want to talk about? You're not gonna make me play guitar or sing are you?
Me: Nah. Just ask a few questions.
Caleb: Maggie is better at this stuff than me. You should have asked her to come.
Me: But the girls want to talk to you.
Caleb: Uh…ok. If you say so.
Me: I know I wrote you to be all modest but you have to understand the appeal right? Tattoos, a motorcycle, a serious case of protective male…
Caleb: Ok, I get it. (Laughs nervously) What do you want to know?
Me: Well, what's your favorite thing about Maggie?
Caleb: She's sweet.
Me: You can do better than that.
Caleb: (laughs in a rumble) What? You want me to say something about how hot she is?
Me: Nope. If she were listening what would you want her to overhear you say about her?
Caleb: That she's amazing, which I tell her every day. She's genuinely the sweetest, most easy going person I've ever met.
Me: And what about Kyle? Things better with him since him and Lynne?
Caleb: Well, we really haven't had much time to figure that out. We've been busy.
Me: With the council?
Caleb: The council, Marla… (Grits teeth and bangs a rhythm with his fist on the chair arm) Maggie's real father, the Watsons. It's been a real load of fun.
Me: So they've been giving Maggie a hard time?
Caleb: They've all been trying to do whatever they can to tear her down…and piss me off in the process. But she's tough. She can handle anything they throw at her. But if she can't…well, then I'll handle it.
Me: What's going on at the palace? Anything you can tell us about?
Caleb: Things aren't like I thought they were. I thought my people were good, a little eccentric and snobbish maybe, but good. But they're not. The council is the biggest joke. All they want is to put Maggie on display.
Me: But you plan to stop them, right?
Caleb: Hell yeah.
Me: How?
Caleb: Well, Maggie is a force to be reckoned with. (Grins with pride, his dimple causing me butterflies.) But if you want to know what happens, then I guess you have to purchase the next book.
Me: Nice marketing plug.
Caleb: I do what I can.
Me: So, will you and Maggie get married in this book?
Caleb: If I had my way, she'd be my wife already. But there's a few things we have to get done first.
Me: Like a house. Have you started looking?
Caleb: I'm throwing a little curveball with that one. I think…I might piss a few people off. (Runs hand through hair and chuckles) But in the end, we've got to do what's right for us, right?
Me: Definitely agree. So what kind of things can we expect between you and Maggie in Defiance then?
Caleb: Well, Maggie definitely kicks it. A lot of things change, for the good. A lot of things stay the same. Maggie surprises even me on more than one occasion. I didn't think she could be more hot…more sexy, more in control and take charge of the whole Visionary thing. But, man, was I wrong. She makes me pretty crazy, I'll say that much.
Me: Anything else you want to lay on us about book 3?
Caleb: We lose somebody…and it's hard. And then all this crap with Maggie's dad and Bish being in danger. And then her real father showing his face…it's been one roller coaster after another. I've never wanted to hurt people as badly as I have this past week.
Me: Why's that?
Caleb: Nobody messes with my girl.
Me: Ok. One last question that I get asked on a daily basis. Do Bish and Jen imprint in book 3?
Caleb: I plead the fifth.
Me: Good answer. Thank you so much for coming.
Caleb: Sure thing. And how about you lay off Maggie in book 4? She's been through enough, don't you think?
Me: Well then, there won't be much to talk about in book 4 will there?
Caleb: I'm sure we can come up with something. (Smirks) I'm thinking wedding bells and honeymoon suites. (Grins and get's a glazy look)
Me: Alright, you.
Caleb: I'll tell Maggie you said hello.
Me: You do that. And have a safe trip back.
Caleb: Yeah…next time you write in a rental car, make it a motorcycle, will ya?
Me: Sure.
Caleb: Later.
Well there you have it! Straight from the hottie's mouth. I need to get back to writing so I'll leave you with Heather! Bye guys!
Best wishes and happy endings,
Shelly Crane
Thank you again Shelly!! That was a great interview... I love me some Caleb :)
