When everything starts spinning out of control . . .

Three years into college, Tressa Oliver’s life is a nonstop party. She’s skating by in her classes, and there’s no shortage of drinking, dancing, and general hell-raising. The only aspect that hasn’t been much fun: She can’t shake the toxic jerks that always seem to gravitate toward her.

It will take someone totally wrong . . .

Trent James is the classic anti–bad boy: smart, boring, and way too serious. To a wild girl like Tressa, there’s no way in hell they’re compatible—especially since Trent seems to see straight through her defenses.

To set her right.

When a college prank goes terribly wrong, Tressa starts to suspect that her partying ways are leading nowhere fast. Now she has to turn to the last person she ever thought she’d ask for help—and quickly discovers that there’s more to Trent than meets the eye . . .

"Without a doubt, the chemistry between the party-girl heroine and the geeky-but-adorable hero is off the charts explosive."—RT Book Reviews

"Fun, fandom, romance and the perfectly sweet kind of opposites attracting."—NY Times Bestselling author, Jay Crownover

REVIEW of Jordyn by Tiffany King

Jordyn (A Daemon Hunter Novel)
By: Tiffany King

Hand to hand combat training: Check
Cardio and strength training: Check
Daemon hunting: Check
Anomaly: Check

Check, check, check, check...That's all my life is. There's nothing ordinary about me. I'm "special." I know this because I'm reminded of it every stinking day. I can kick a Daemon's ass with both hands tied behind my back. I can run up a mountain without breaking a sweat. Know what I can't do? Get guys to notice me, or hang out with friends like normal people do. I can't just be ordinary because I have an Arch Angel for a mentor who is always breathing down my neck, and a family of angelic Guides and Protectors who scrutinize every little thing I do. Just for a day I want a life where I'm no longer some anomaly, where I don't have to feel like a lab rat.

And then I met Emrys. Okay, so my mentor and family hate him, but probably for good reason. After-all, he is a Soul Trader, and they aren't the most trust worthy beings. But, he is sooo hot with his green eyes, leather jacket and the sexiest tattoo you've ever seen running down his back. And-he doesn't treat me like a project.

I've got myself in quite a little quandary here. Choosing between my responsibilities, and the Trader that holds my heart is something I didn't sign up for. Torn between two different worlds, I must now decide who to trust and who to walk away from. What's a girl to do? See what I mean? I am an anomaly. I am Jordyn.

Review:

Tiffany hasn't disappointed yet... and Jordyn is NO different! Talk about an action packed thrill ride! From the get go you are pulled into Jordyns world and you better buckle up for the ride. I cannot tell you how much I loved this book it was like....

Amazing doesn't begin to describe it. I couldn't put it down.... The story line is perfectly paced, filled with action, good v/s evil, intrigue, and hottness. When I started and met Jordyn I was blown away by what a kick-ass girl she was. All I kept picturing in my head was ......

Throw some dark hair on the gal and yepp she is my Jordyn LOL. She is smart, funny, cunning and cocky. I completely fell in love with her from get go. She is faced with things that no one else is and yet she takes it all and kicks it in the face. Then in walks Emrys.... Holy Smokes Batman!

Emrys is a hot, sly, and so many other things all rolled into his Awesomeness. Jumping around places with Jordyn much to the dismay of others is a fun thing to read and enjoy. This girl fell for him fast... and he is now one of my book boyfriends!

All of the other amazing characters are so fully realized, not one is a throw in there to fill space. You will adore most and question some but mostly you will fall in love with EVERYTHING that is Jordyn.

Toward the end all I can say is this was and still is my reaction...

along with my heart that went and looks like this now....

AMAZING 5 STARS!!

Why Indies Rock Blog Tour ~~**~~ GIVEAWAY!!

First take a look, yeah up there and see all those blogs who think that Indies Rock!
Hey, Awesome I’m on of those who think Indies Rock! That’s because they are some of the most amazing peeps you will ever talk to or if your lucky.. Get to meet. I for one have been that lucky, more about that in a minute though.
Why do I think this?
It’s simple, these people who publish their own books are some of the most wicked word slingers around! I have all but stopped reading traditionally published books *by the big 6* because there are so so many AMAZING Indie books out there. If you are a regular here on the blog.. You already know this. If this is your first stop well let me tell you…. This last year for me has been full ofAwesome new books and One of a Kind Indie Authors who I am so so glad to actually call my friends. These authors take the time to chat it up with you on Twitter or Facebook. It’s not just a constant “buy my book” either… As a reader… I LOVE THIS.
What do I think of peeps who diss my Indie Authors?
Oh, this is when SupaGurl has to back away from the computer and rant to the hubby, one of said Author friends or blogger sistas. The shiz that gets slung around on GR’s is beyond ridiculous! I refuse to even comment over there. All of them who are saying things like.. Oh it’s an Indie Author well that is going to be sh*t because they couldn’t get signed for a book deal…. Or Indies don’t edit their books… Or they cannot take criticism… the list goes on and on well guess what I say….

I call Major BullSh*t
These authors work their as* off to put out SupaGreat stories. They actually *gasp* PAY someone to edit their books and a lot of them never even tried to query with the traditional publishing houses! They also put out MAJOR extras for their books. They have that freedom, if they want to write up a chapter from a different characters POV well guess what… they just do it! Oh, look they finished everything early… guess what they put that shiz out there early! I think it’s all about the freedom to do what they want when they want. Their writing is some of the BEST freakin writing I’ve had the privilege to read. As proof.. Bix 6’s are trying to snatch up tons of Indie Authors for their own now. Oh, and the movies… yes some of the Indie’s after writing these KICK AS* stories are getting freakin movie/tv deals!! Nothing sets me off more than someone spouting off CRAP about my Indie Authors…. Do I usually go online and call them on it? NO! I don’t have time to get into it with them, nor do I want to be seen as a negative person b/c really I’m not! *I don’t use words when mad LOL*
Want to see some of the amazing Indie Authors I’ve met this year?

Wishing For Someday Soon by Tiffany King

Do you ever read a book and it completely takes you back to a moment in your life?  Maybe the circumstances are not the same, or perhaps they are, or perhaps it's the actions of people, good or bad, that totally transports you back to a moment that forever changed your life.  Deep right?  Well that is because this book is deep!  Wishing for Someday Soon by Tiffany King is an emotionally charged story that tackles the reality of life for hundreds of thousands of kids across the world.  Really millions of them; who are struggling with poverty and abuse at the hands of adults who don't have the right to be called parents.  Yet, if I scared you with the deep subject matter let me say that this book is so sweet and has its light moments too.  Don't be scared of the emotional wave coming your way!

So I won a Tiffany King book from Supa Gurl Heather herself several weeks ago and when I couldn't decide what to pick she suggested this one.  I didn't even read the synopsis just opened it up and found myself drawn to the beautiful story of Katelyn and Kevin whom after multiple (for reals multiple) moves throughout the years find themselves in Four Corners, Montana with their 'mother' Lucinda and Jim the "step-dork".  Katelyn, now a pro at being the new kid, starts school at the very different public school in town determined to just get by as she's always done knowing that in a few months time she will be on the road again once Lucinda gets bored with small town living, or the freebies run out.  However, Katelyn did not plan on Max.  She did not plan on the dimpled hottie to show her attention, or the students she meets to be so friendly or the school to care so much about her and Kevin.  And her life begins to change; except if doesn't really.

My idea of Max

Should she allow herself to hope that her Someday Soon is here now or is this just another sad stop in her sad life?  You MUST read this book to find out!

Back to my flashback moment...I do not pretend that my moment is anything like Katelyn's but this book brought me to a memory from my high school years where someone was there for me like Max tries to be for Katelyn and the song "I'll Stand By You" by The Pretenders popped into my head.  It is a perfect theme for Max and Katelyn and was a theme for me once upon a time too.  It's one of my all time favorites and here are just a few of the lyrics to explain why...

Oh, why you look so sad?
Tears are in your eyes
Come on and come to me now
Don't be ashamed to cry
Let me see you through
'cause I've seen the dark side too
When the night falls on you
You don't know what to do
Nothing you confess
Could make me love you less

I'll stand by you
I'll stand by you
Won't let nobody hurt you
I'll stand by you

To this day I shed a tear every time I hear this song.  This story brought these moments back up to my mind and my heart and for that I totally declare this a FABULOUS five feather read!  Thank you Tiffany and Heather for sharing this story with me, I truly loved it.

Miss Me Not by Tiffany King Cover Reveal

Synopsis:
They had a pact.
Leave the world behind much as they had lived it.
No one would miss them. No harm, no foul.
Their personal demons would be left behind once and for all.
It was the only thing they could count on.
It was all she had.

Madison Hanson has spent the last four years being a "shadow." Her parents ignore her. The students at her school stopped talking to her years ago, and the majority of her teachers forget she's even there. In her desperate yearning to leave her invisible life behind, Madison makes a pact with her only friend, James Garrison, to end their lives as inconspicuously as they live them. No fuss, no muss. No one would miss her and she would miss no one. Their plan is set, and it's all she can count on. That is, until fellow student, Mitch Peterson, beats them to the punch. Everything Madison believed in is shaken to the core when she watches the aftermath of Mitch's death unfold. By taking his own life, Mitch unwittingly saves hers. What a selfish prick.

She is now left with the daunting task of living. Trying to bury her demons once and for all, and finally trusting someone with her fragile existence.

Living is hell.
Death would have been so much easier.

You all should know by now... I adore Tiffany and all that she has wrote! This woman is one of those peeps that has a way with words!! I am very excited about this one :)

Now... How beautiful is that!!!

Unlikely Allies by Tiffany King Tour Stop : Radio Show, Review & GIVEAWAY

Unlikely Allies
by Tiffany King
Release Date: August 31. 2012
Eighteen-year-old Kimberly gets the shock of her life when she learns the father she thought was dead is not only very much alive, but never even knew she existed. Angry with her mother for lying all these years, Kimberly flies to Colorado to meet the father she knows nothing about before heading off to college in the fall.

Her father’s world turns out to be nothing like she expected. Rather than the typical nine to five lifestyle, Kimberly’s father runs a summer foster camp that teaches young children skills to build their confidence and self-esteem. The Colorado Rocky Mountains are a different world than the sunny shores of California, taking Kimberly completely out of her element, and causing her to second-guess her spur of the moment decision.

Never being one to quit anything, Kimberly is determined to show her father that a surfer girl can fit into this rugged mountain wilderness. That is if she can deal with Mason, an arrogant nineteen-year-old guy who has made it his mission to point out every mistake she has made since her arrival. While she would love nothing more than to rub it in his know-it-all face, Kimberly can’t deny the feelings he stirs up inside her, or the chemistry between them, even during their verbal assaults.

When a tragic accident leaves them stranded in the mountains, Kimberly must use her shaky skills to save Mason and survive the elements. Suddenly, fighting is the last thing on their minds as they must rely on each other if they want to live. In their struggle for survival, they realize what they thought they knew about each other isn’t true after all.

Review :

Cover: Love!! enough said because I just really like everything about it.

Great story with a wicked cool bunch of characters. Kimberly learns that her father is alive and never knew she existed, but she is going to fix that. She is out of her element but she adapts. I loved this about her. She wants to prove to her father that she can hang with him and all the others. That she is not just a prissy girl.

I fell into this story really quick... Tiffany has a great way of pulling you in from the very start. This was an emotional book.. it's enough that you will be laughing and wiping some tears away as well. Amazingly well written Unlikely Allies has a great mixture of amazing characters, adventure, action, love and heart wrenching goodness!!

Mason... *sigh* yeah he is all business and badassness. He doesn't make anything for Kimberly easy. He is there to make sure to point out what she is doing wrong... but you can feel the chemistry between the two from the get go.

You must read... It's great for everyone who likes well just a GREAT BOOK!!
