Cover Reveal - The Prophecy by Desiree Deorto

Just wanted to share a pretty pretty cover with you all!

My lovely friend Desiree Deorto is releasing her first book this May and she is sharing her
book blurb and cover with us today.  Take a look...

The Prophecy; Divinity Stone Book One

Blurb:

The people of Shiloh Virginia thought it was just a story. A legend to keep children from misbehaving. A challenge to prove you have courage. What they didn't know was that it was real. All of it was real.

When Starlette McKinley moved from the sparkling lights of LA to the sleepy town of Shiloh, she didn't know that she would be the catalyst. She didn't know that the rage and energy pulsing through her would be the key to unleashing an unsurmountable power that would either be the saving of mankind, or its destruction.

The blood will run, and the prophecy will be revealed.  But will she be able to overcome the insurmountable odds? Or will she succumb to the energy within, welcoming the darkness that has become her only friend.

Promise Me This by Sarah Ashley Jones - Book Blurb

Today is a special day!!
It's my marvelous friend, Sarah Ashley Jones, birthday!!
Happy birthday my lovely!  In honor of her b-day Sarah has decided to release the blurb to her upcoming NA Contemporary Romance

Promise Me This by Sarah Ashley Jones
A NA Contemporary Romance
Expected to Release Summer 2013

BLURB:
Welcome to the South - where the tea is sweet and the accents are sweeter. This Southern way of life is all Charlie has ever known.  It’s not until she loses the only person who pushed her to break free of the Southern Belle mold that she starts living the life she needs and not the life her parents forced on her.

Jhett has lived on the edge for as long as he could remember - constantly teetering back and forth between being a rock star and living a normal life.  His rebellious and sometimes arrogant attitude is known to get him into trouble, especially with the girls who hang on his every move.

Charlie never thought that a trip to pack up her brother’s apartment would leave her feeling even more unsettled about the grainy details of her brother’s death.  Her quest for information leads her straight to his old hangout and into arms of Jhett, who suspiciously knows more about her situation than he ever should.

Only a few questions remain - Can you trust someone based on their word alone? And if you make a promise, how far will you go to keep it?

TEASER: Here's a little treat from Jhett's POV.
“It’s kind of hard to think when you have me in such a compromising position.”  She wiggled against the hands beneath my grasp.  I never held her hands down too tight or against her will, but I’d figured out what she liked, and it was exactly that.
“I could guess one thing you’re thinking about right now.”  I let go of one wrist, which left me free to explore the curves underneath me that continued to drive me wild.  My hands slid down her chest and side, blazing a trail straight to her thighs.  Her unsteady breaths let me know that she was enjoying every minute of the sensuous torture I had planned.
Charlie’s hand slipped up to my face, and she locked her eyes onto my own; the deep blue color acting as my kryptonite.  “I’ve only got one thing on my mind…”   The soft pad of her thumb ran across my bottom lip, sending a shiver down my spine.  She caught me off guard as she pressed her lips on mine with only the slightest amount of pressure, causing me to breathe in deep through my nose.
“How many hours of sleep you’re going to get after I rock your world all night?”  I couldn’t even recognize my own voice anymore.  It was deep and husky, filled with a kind of need and lust I’d never heard come out of my mouth.
Charlie took my earlobe into her mouth, only running her teeth lightly over it before she released my sensitive flesh.  “What bathing suit I’m going to wear tomorrow at the bonfire…”

About the Author

Having grown up in both the cold, quiet town of Topsham, Maine and the steamy, southern hospitality of Mobile, Alabama, Michele is something of a enigma.  She is an avid Yankees fan, loves New England, being outdoors and misses snow.  However she thinks southern boys are hotter, Alabama football is the only REAL football out there and sweet tea is the best thing this side of heaven and her children’s laughter!  Her family, a doting hubby and three little minnions, have planted their roots in the middle of Michele’s two childhood homes in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Never Let You Fall is Michele’s first novel and she is beyond thrilled to have finally followed up on a dream she has held for over 20 years!  God willing there will be many many more books to follow.

The Love Game by Emma Hart- Book Tour~Review~

His challenge? Make her fall in love with him.
Her challenge? Play the player.
Until life changes the rules of the game.

Maddie Stevens hated Braden Carter on sight. Arrogant, egotistical, and the playboy of the University of California, Berkeley, he's everything her brother Pearce has taught her to despise. So why, when the girls challenge her to play the player, doesn't she say no? She doesn't know either.

Braden wanted fiery little Maddie the second he laid eyes on her - and he'd do anything to have her, hence why he's agreed to make her fall in love with him. After all, it's the only way he'll get what he wants. Sex.
But, as Braden discovers, there's more to the girl from Brooklyn than he ever imagined - and he can't help but care about the broken girl behind those pretty green eyes.

Maddie finds Braden isn't just a walking erection - he actually has feelings. He can be sweet, funny and his good looks don't exactly hurt. That means trouble - but when her brother Pearce turns up in Berkeley begging for her help, she realises Braden and Pearce aren't so alike anymore.

And maybe, just maybe, they're exactly what each other needs.

My Review

Braden = One smoking hot hunky caveman!  The End.

Well I suppose I need to write more than that huh?  Okay, okay..so The Love Game.  Emma Hart's second attempt at New Adult Romance is a home run   YAY!  I was very lucky to watch The Love Game come to life in chats I was having with Emma as she was writing it.  I knew and loved Braden from day one and could not wait to get my hands on my BETA copy so I could devour him.

This is a super fun story about two people who get caught up in "the game" of love unwittingly.
The play the player tag is a fun tag.

While Maddie would seem like the "larger" main character here I would say that both she and Braden share the MC duties.  Braden is likeable, even with his cavemen attitude.  Maddie is a character that probably 90% of college girls these days could totally relate to.

Emma has a great way of writing characters whom are real.  Her dialogue is always fresh and fun and she is very good at writing secondary characters who flow with the story and add to it.

This is a fast paced NA read that will have you laughing into the night.

By day, Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to a terrible two year old and cooking baby, due September 2013. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of wine – well, tropical juice now – and writes books. She likes to write about magic, kisses and whatever else she can fit into the story. Sarcastic, witty characters are a must. As are hot guys. She's working on the companion novel to her latest release and NA debut, Never Forget (Memories #1), and The Love Game (The Game, #1) will release on March 29th. She likes to be busy - unless busy involves doing the dishes. Ironically, that's where most of her ideas come from. Her debut YA series, The Mauve Legacy, is an Apple iBooks Bestseller - and this makes Emma excited.

Okay ladies, isn't that better??

SupaGurl Heather :

I think if you come here at all... you will already know who I'm picking ;) of course it's Brennus from the Premonition Series by Amy Bartol!!!

Why? you ask... Well let me esplain... This is the baddest bad boy around, and I don't mind he is all rebel and such. He is TRULY the BAD GUY! How can I love him so much if he is the bad guy? I honestly don't think I can explain it very well LOL ... He has a way about him that makes you go damn maybe he has a point and his way IS the right way. He loves deeply, and will protect what is his. Family for him is a big thing (YES I promise he really is badass), He doesn't give up for what he knows is HIS, and he is SEXY on a STICK!!

Here is my version of Brennus ......

**Drools** So... you don't know who Brennus is or *gasp* Amy Bartol and her AMAZING Series? here is where you can find them....

Chele take it away gal....

Boy, oh boy, oh boy!!

So my book boyfriend?  Well like Heather I am obsessed with an Amy Bartol creation.  However, mine is of the angelic persuasion

Reed Wellington, be still my heart!  In the year since I "met" Reed I have taken to doing some of these interesting tasks:
1) Taken pictures of feathers around my home (surely he is stopping by when I'm not here!)
2) Secured Twinkies and Cognac (in preparation for when he decides to stop by and not be shy)
3) Taken to threatening Amy if she allows him to go out in public without me. (This is totally normal, right??)

Reed is amazing!  He is a bit cocky- Power Angel, hello?!?  He is protective, fiercely loyal to his friends and forgiving of his very confused love Evie.  He is willing to fight to the death to save his true love (moi???) and has been willing to give her up on occasion if that is what is necessary to protect her.

Add all of that to the bangin list of things this boy can do and places he can go- hello unlimited Black card- and this is one boyfriend you can't pass up ;)

There are some amazing book boyfriends in the books written by Utop Authors and I do need to name a few honorable mentions (because I'm just like that!)
Finn- Daughters of the Sea Series by Kristen Day
Tristan- Archers of Avalon by Chelsea Fine
Dean- Miss Me Not by Tiffany King

Sarah ..... who do you choose?

Gosh ya'll. You know how much I love me some Brennus. I mean, it's no secret, but I'll refrain from fighting Heather on the playground after school for him because I'm such an awesome friend. This being said, if he happens to bite me, and I have my ways to make this happen, I can't be held responsible. Sorry Heather!!

Annnnyways, I'll introduce you to my tall, dark haired, blue eyed, and feisty book boyfriend, Ian from Wolf Spell by M.R. Polish! He pretty much jumped the book boyfriend ship and made himself captain after I finished Wolf Spell a few weeks ago. I have a thing for bad boys with soft and squishy hearts and he certainly fits that bill.

First of all, he uses the pet name Princess, which I may be the only one, but a boy with a snarky attitude calling me Princess...where do I sign up for that!? Second, he's a Guardian which means he has some serious muscles and knows how to use his skills to kick some booty! And third, he's willing to fight for his woman! He comes in and battles his brother for a girl like it was no big thang!

Here's what I dream Ian looking like. Enjoy and just excuse me while I sit around and wait for him to come rescue me from some precarious situation I conveniently will find my way into to.

I'm also going to go the honorable mention route, Chele, since this was super hard to narrow down! All these fabulous runner-ups can be found in books by UtopYA authors as well!

Laylen from The Fallen Star/Shattered Promises by Jessica Sorensen
Julian from The Mindjack Trilogy by Susan Kaye Quinn
Caleb from The Gryphon Series by Stacey Rouke

You are up Tess, who is your choice?

Do I have to go last? How do I follow up after all this greatness?!  I mean I am SUPER lame and I haven't read the WHOLE Premonition Series, so should I really have a say in what a REAL book boyfriend is suppose to be?  I also missed out on Wolf Spell train!  I obviously NEED to get to these before June!

My love is contemporary romance, so I'm definitely the odd man out on this post BUT it's just my thing!  I thought I would take my book boyfriend from the recent Bestseller Beauty from Pain by Georgia Cates.  You probably know him as Jack Henry.... *sigh* Isn't his name just so Beautiful? You just swoon at the sounds of it! Don't lie I know you sighed too at the mention of his name!

Why is he my book boyfriend of the day, you ask?  Well first of all HE IS SEXY.  Oh? there has to be another reason besides that? Darn!
1. He's a mysterious man.  He won't even tell Laurelyn his name!  This sounds crazy I KNOW but it's SO intriguing.
2. Next, he's protective maybe a little possessive BUT for me that is essential in every book boyfriend.  He better get a little bit jealous when someone else is after his girl!  Jack Henry definitely does!
3. My last reason because there has to be a last and if y'all let me go on forever then I would, IS that he is the SWOON.  Now let me explain,  He just has a way about him that makes you want to melt.  The way he says and does things just makes you putty in his hands!  Oh and it definitely helps that he is RICH so you get everything your heart desires...basically.

Ready to see my Jack Henry?

Isn't he smokin'! I love a guy in a tux! YUMMY :)

Also since Michele AND Sarah cheated and put some of there other book boyfriends,  I thought why can't I so here some other boyfriends of mine

Kayden from The Coincidence of Callie & Kayden by Jessica Sorensen
Max from Wishing for Someday Soon by Tiffany King
&
Oscar from Hale Maree by Misty Provencher
