More that I've finished off...What I'm starting on...

<3 this book! Megan Berry is an all around great character! She wants to  be normal but well she is a "settler". This is not your average blood and gore Zombie book, it's better! Story line is great. There is action, romance, pom squad tryouts, and well dead people. And wow talk about a smack you in the face ending whew! go out and get it!!

<3 this one just as much as the first Megan Berry! Megan is a special settler and well that makes her a big target! She is a kick ass girl all around. Super hot boyfriend, stalker zombie boy?, pom squad v/s cheer squad, oh and a threating zombie Apocalypse all in a day in the life of Megan it seems. Get it!!!

Mackie Doyle is not one of us. Though he lives in the small town of Gentry, he comes from a world of tunnels and black murky water, a world of living dead girls ruled by a little tattooed princess. He is a Replacement, left in the crib of a human baby sixteen years ago. Now, because of fatal allergies to iron, blood, and consecrated ground, Mackie is fighting to survive in the human world.

Mackie would give anything to live among us, to practice on his bass or spend time with his crush, Tate. But when Tate's baby sister goes missing, Mackie is drawn irrevocably into the underworld of Gentry, known as Mayhem. He must face the dark creatures of the Slag Heaps and find his rightful place, in our world, or theirs.

Fifteen-year-old Megan Berry is a Zombie Settler by birth, which means she's part-time shrink to a bunch of dead people with a whole lot of issues.

All Megan wants is to be normal and go to homecoming, of course. Unfortunately, it's a little difficult when your dates keep getting interrupted by a bunch of slobbering Undead.

Things are about to get even more complicated for Megan. Someone in school is using black magic to turn average, angsty Undead into flesh-eating Zombies, and it's looking like homecoming will turn out to be a very different kind of party the bloody kind.

Megan must stop the Zombie apocalypse descending on Carol, Arkansas. Her life and more importantly, homecoming depends on it.

Awesome book! This one gets 5 stars from me!! Read it!

More that I've finished off...What I'm starting on...

I started this one and I <3 this series but, I couldn't finish this one. Maybe I was just not in the mood for this book or something cause I was like ewwww. :(

From good reads : The Second Civil War was fought over reproductive rights. The chilling resolution: Life is inviolable from the moment of conception until age thirteen. Between the ages of thirteen and eighteen, however, parents can have their child "unwound," whereby all of the child's organs are transplanted into different donors, so life doesn't technically end. Connor is too difficult for his parents to control. Risa, a ward of the state is not enough to be kept alive. And Lev is a tithe, a child conceived and raised to be unwound. Together, they may have a chance to escape and to survive.

I am about 1/2 into it and WOW this is a great book! Very different world they live in and makes you think....

Matched book review

When I started this book I wasn't sure I was going to like it at all! The first 7 or 8 chapters were kinda slow. After that though you get to where you are attached to the people and that is what I like about books to be drawn in and attached to the characters. This is a completely new world and very different from what I normally read... but I like it! I am kinda excited for the next one :)
