Remembrance
by Michelle Madow
New Hampshire high school junior Lizzie Davenport has been reincarnated from Regency Era, England ... but she doesn't know it yet.
Then Drew Carmichael transfers into Lizzie's school at the beginning of the year, and she feels a connection to him, almost like she knows him. She can't stop thinking about him, but whenever she tries talking with him about the mysteries behind her feelings, he makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Reaching him is even more difficult because she has a boyfriend, Jeremy, who has started to become full of himself after being elected co-captain of the varsity soccer team, and her flirtatious best friend Chelsea starts dating Drew soon after his arrival. So why can't she seem to get him out of her mind?
Even though Lizzie knows she should let go of her fascination with Drew, the pair of them soon find that fighting fate isn't going to be easy.

Q&A with Michelle Madow...
Michelle was nice enough to take some time to answer a few questions.
Me: First, congratulations on what a hit Remembrance is! I for one LOVED it. I fell for the characters especially, did you use any of the people in your life to help you create these people?
Michelle: Thank you—I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed it! The characters in Remembrance are all created from my imagination.
Me: Did you have a hard time writing any of the characters or did it just pour out?
Michelle: Before I write a novel I create character bio’s for each character, so when I started writing Remembrance the characters had already been created and developed. By the time I started writing Remembrance, it all poured out! The hardest character for me to write was Hannah, because she actually wasn’t even in the first draft. I added her in later!
Me: What are some of your favorite authors?
Michelle: Some of my favorite authors are JK Rowling, Stephenie Meyer, Suzanne Collins, Scott Westerfeld, and Julie Kagawa.
Me: If you had your choice, who would you want to collaborate with on a novel/Anthology?
Michelle: Definitely Taryn Browning—my critique partner, agent-mate, and friend! She writes YA as well, and I definitely think working on a novel/anthology with her would be fun.
Me: Are you working on anything now? If so can you tell us what it is *bats eyelashes*?
Michelle: Since Remembrance I've written two other novels, both in the YA genre. One is a fusion of Greek mythology and witchcraft, and the other is "Gossip Girl meets Las Vegas." I've also got a surprise in the works right now, and I plan on announcing what that is in the beginning of October!
Thank You so much to Michelle for taking time out of her busy schedule to answer those! *whew* I'm still kinda nervous that was my very first Q & A with an Author *grins* I hopefully will get better with the questions as time goes on.
Review: 5x5
This is a wicked good story! I really enjoyed slipping away to New Hampshire *where the story takes place*. There are great Pride & Prejudice references and I have MAJOR love for that story, so that added greatly to it. The characters are amazing and very well written, normal teenagers and very well developed. Remembrance has a story all its own and is a super fantastic read! I suggest you GET IT!! Read it and fall in LOVE!
