Daughters of the Sea Trilogy *Cover Reveals*

Swoon now people because we have an exclusive cover reveal!!

The amazing Kristen Day has re-imaged her book series
Daughters of the Sea and we get to show them to you FIRST!!

If you've been following SupaGurl Books for the past few months then it's no secret that I love Kristen's books.  A fellow North Carolinian, Kristen has written an awesomsauce young adult book series about sea Goddesses (I'm not talking about the 50 Shades type of Goddess!)

Here, with my very mini review/blurb of each book, I give you the fabulous new covers:

Forsaken (Daughters of the Sea, #1)

In which we are introduced to adopted Hannah who finds out her heritage is a bit more special than she could ever imagine.  When Hannah is sent away to a "special" school (and acquires the name Stacia) we are drawn into a world of Gods and Goddesses of the sea.  We also meet Finn, the tall dark and handsome boy who Hannah can't help but be drawn too even though he is full of darkness.  A great mix of romance, mystery and mythology for the YA reader.

Currently on $0.99 on Amazon!  Go get it!

Awaken (Daughters of the Sea, #2)
This one is a nail biter that takes you to the underworld and leaves you breathless with an ending that will make you glad that Chosen is already out.  I was not so lucky and had to wait months!  This has all of the aspects of book #1 PLUS Kristen gets darker and adds freaky crazy ghost like scenes.

Chosen (Daughters of the Sea, #3)
The last book in this amazing trilogy find us learning more and more about the powers that Stacia has as she nears her eighteenth birthday.  She still has one, or more, huge hurdles to overcome to become a true sea Goddess and take her rightful place.

So whatcha think?  They are pretty are they not?

I highly recommend this series for those of you who love a good YA romance with some magical elements thrown in.  Kristen does a great job at writing characters whom you love.  This is also a great age appropriate YA read.  Any more mature aspects (language, sexual references are done very tastefully and would not be an embarrassment to you if you recommend this to a teen.)

Her main characters are fascinating and fun and her secondary characters bring an added richness to the story.  I love her secondary characters so much that I would be happy to read spin offs on most of them, their stories are begging to be told!

Go stalk Kristen and let her know what you think:

By the way, if you are going to UTopYA in Nashville this June Kristen will be there as an exhibitor with these fabulous books!  Make sure you stop by and say Hi!

Also, SupaGurl Heather and I will be there too so leave us a comment on the blog so we can be looking for you!!
