From Goodreads:

Ashlyn McVean doesn’t believe in fairy tales. That is, until Ashlyn is thrown into the crosshairs of grudges her grandmother created long ago. After finding out she is one of two people able to cross between faerie realms, Ashlyn is faced with trying to understand her abilities, along with navigating a new relationship with her boyfriend, Liam.

As if being on a centuries old hit list and dealing with crazed pixies isn’t enough, her new abilities mean trouble for Liam. Knowing her new life puts everyone she loves in danger, Ashlyn must decide what’s most important in her life between friends, family, love, and ultimately, realms.

Review: 5x5

Bridger is a wonderfully woven tale! I was taken on a fantastical journey and I loved every minute of it. The story itself is very unique and extremely well written, grabbing you and pulling you into the world that is created.

The characters are all very interesting and well realized. Ashlyn is an amazing girl I liked her immediately. Very strong girl and a great mindset. Her Memaw is a character that everyone will love! She is just amazing. Even Ashlyn's friends are loveable.

Hot boys? oh yeah it has em! Reese is the great always there for you friend, and I really do like him. Then there is Liam *sigh* I fell for him instantly. I'm sure you will too, but even if you like Reese better that's ok as long as you check this story out!

  1. Ooh! This Liam really sounds like something. I haven't read a review for this book discussing Liam much, but now I'm really curious to know all about him. I look forward to reading this book:)

  4. Curd... When I think of Curd, I automatically think of cheese Curds.. the guys at work are always blabbing about cheese Curds.. that's off subject though.

This book sounds great, I like just about anything with faeries involved... except for the gay erotica one I accidentally won off goodreads. And I'm not being homophobic by saying it was about faeries.. it was seriously about faeries.. and a big balled faerie beast that wanted to hump the main character. Weird. lol Lesson learned.. read descriptions carefully. :)
