Q&A with Jennifer Estep *Mythos Academy* and Giveaway

Jennifer writes both YA and Adult books! Here are some of her YA books..

Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to answer a few questions for me and my followers!

JE: Thanks for hosting me on the blog. I appreciate it.

SG: Tell us about your Mythos Academy Series in ONE word. (not at all hard huh?)

JE: Fun.

SG: How many books will there be in the series, or do you know yet?

JE: Right now, I’m under contract for six books in the series. Touch of Frost and Kiss of Frost, the first two books are available now, and Dark Frost, the third book, will be out in June 2012. I’m having a lot of fun with the characters and story, and I hope to be writing about Gwen and her friends for a long time to come.

SG: Which is your favorite Character to write? Least Favorite to write?

JE: Vic, Gwen’s talking sword, is probably my favorite character to write simply because he has so much confidence and attitude and so many outrageous opinions. He’s just a lot of fun to write.

I don’t know that he’s my least favorite to write, but I occasionally struggle with Nickamedes. Sometimes, I think it can be difficult to write a character who doesn’t necessarily get along with your heroine but who isn’t an outright villain either.

SG: Which group do you favor most at the Academy?

JE: If I was a warrior at Mythos, I’d probably be a Celt, like Carson, just someone who’s kind of quiet and introspective and likes to stay in the background most of the time.

SG: Are any of your characters like you, share traits?

JE: I love to read, like Gwen does, and I like to bake, like Grandma Frost does. But Gwen is much stronger and braver than I could ever be.

This or That...

Sneakers or High Heels?

JE: Definitely sneakers.

Eat in or Dine out?

JE: Both. I love good food whether it’s at home or at a restaurant.

Movie Theater or Movie at home?

JE: Movie at home.

E-book or Real book?

JE: Real book. After being on the computer all day, I like holding a paper book in my hand, although I definitely see the appeal of e-books and e-readers. Happy reading, everyone!

Wanna find out more about her and her books?? I'm sure you do well here is her WEBSITE

Jennifer has been nice enough to offer up a copy of her newly released Kiss of Frost

Logan Quinn was trying to kill me. My Spartan classmate relentlessly pursued me, swinging his sword at me over and over again, the shining silver blade inching closer to my throat every time. A smile tugged up his lips, and his ice-blue eyes practically glowed with the thrill of battle...

I’m Gwen Frost, a second-year warrior-in-training at Mythos Academy, and I have no idea how I’m going to survive the rest of the semester. One day, I’m getting schooled in swordplay by the guy who broke my heart—the drop-dead gorgeous Logan who slays me every time. Then, an invisible archer in the Library of Antiquities decides to use me for target practice. And now, I find out that someone at the academy is really a Reaper bad guy who wants me dead. I’m afraid if I don’t learn how to live by the sword—with Logan’s help—I just might die by the sword...
