Day 7 Addison Moore Week Vex & Expel *Deleted Scenes*

So, After a break we are back on track with Day 7 of Addison Moore Week :) Today I have for you
Some DELETED Scenes from Addison!!

Thank you all so much for sticking with us this week!! One more day to go and man it's a AMAZING Surprise!!! BE HERE! Now on with the show...

Deleted Scene from VEX - placeholder ending came from the first draft :)

Hours pass. Surgery goes on forever. They twist and turn Logan’s bowels, his legs are pinned, his left hip reconstructed. He has two collapsed lungs, eight broken ribs.

Gage has so much internal damage they’re flying in specialists to rewire his insides.

Each time the doctor comes out to speak with us, the news is increasingly grim. They need more blood. The blood bank is low. There’s a medic boat on the way to the island with units in reserve.

I offer my blood, all of it to both Logan and Gage, but Dr. Oliver says no—there are procedures, it doesn’t work that way.

I want to remind him it worked that way in his lab, but don’t.

Numbness penetrates me all the way to my bones, my own private fog. This is too surreal. I can’t begin to fathom what really happened. It’s so painfully impossible to think I might lose them. I’d rather die—give my life in exchange for theirs than bear the pain of mourning them. This is my fault. I’m the one who asked to have Logan’s Celestra powers revoked. I put Gage in harms way simply by loving him.

Endless hours pass with the scene replaying in my mind a hundred thousand times until finally, with great mercy, the world fades to black.

I rouse to a cool breeze. An echo of screams goes off in the distance, and it becomes apparent I’m no longer in the hospital.

A night sky with a lavender glow ripples over head as though it were a living thing not some nebulas place made of arid gases that soak up dreams and wishes. An open field surrounds me. The forest to my left is illuminated from above. I’m wearing the white dress Marshall gave me the day I disappeared at the Counts stone altar. Its pretty lace pattern repeats from the bodice down before it cuts off past my knees.

“Skyla,” a male voice comes from behind.

I turn to find Logan in all of his physical perfection and run to him, lunge into an embrace so tight I think I’m going to push through.

“You’re OK!” I lose myself in a puddle of tears as I press my face into his neck. I pull back and examine him. “You’re going to be OK, right?” I look around at the strange landscape. Each time Logan and I meet in his dreams we’re enveloped in the serene calm of dusk. “Am I dreaming?” I cradle his cheek in the palm of my hand, brush my thumb against the rough stubble along his flesh.

“No,” he shakes his head.

A spike of panic rises in me.

“Where are we? Where’s Gage?” I’m vulnerable as a newborn in this strange environment.

More screams erupt in the distance.

Logan doesn't say anything just fans his hand out as though I should know.

“No.” My heart thumps unnaturally. We can’t be in the ethereal plane, not yet.

Logan touches his forehead to mine. “I love you more than the heavens love the sun and the moon.” He offers a soft tender kiss, and I quickly pull away.

A memory darts through me of a dream I once had long before I knew of Logan. He whispered those exact same words.

“You’re going to live—tell me you’re going to live,” I insist.
He doesn’t say anything, just shakes his head.

“You have to live,” the words burn as they scratch their way from my throat. “I swear to God I’ll find a way to kill you if you die on me.”

“Then I’d better survive.” The line I gave him down the side of his cheek elongates in a lateral smile. “Hate to die twice.”

Howls and screams emit from the forest.

“What’s going on?”

Logan picks something up from behind and hands it to me.
It’s a bow with thick glossy wood just like Marshall’s.

“Region one.” His eyes sharpen on mine. “Welcome to the war.”

I shake my head refusing the weapon, refusing the war.

“Skyla!” A girl’s voice booms from my left.

I turn to find Chloe. Her black hair gleams, puffed out like a dark rainbow hovering around her. She holds taut a bow with its arrow swift in flight—before I can move, it spears through my chest.

A crimson stain blooms wide and quick over my white dress.

Logan shouts something to Chloe in another language.

I see Gage racing through the woods on his way over.

I remember my mother’s words, if you die in the ethereal plane you most certainly die.

Logan lays me on the ground, his face filled with worry and sorrow.

Gage comes in panting, shouting my name. He sounds distant, unintelligible with his feverish rants.

The last thing I see is my blood poured out like an offering, my body the altar of Chloe’s hatred.

The ethereal plane moves in and out of focus, blurs to nothing until all I’m left with are memories, my life pushing through my mind like a movie locked on fast forward. My time in Paragon—so brief, but filled with love from the two boys who hover above me.

“Skyla!” My name swims from far away.

A bright light explodes, swallows me whole—engulfs me with its perfect peace.

Deleted Scene from Expel - She decided not to have Skyla leave prom to look for Mia and just cut this scene entirely

The three of us pull up to the Landon house in Gage’s truck, greeted by blue and red flashing lights spiraling through the blank of night. Two police cars are tucked high up on the driveway as the front door sits wide open with a cheery orange glow emitting from the entry.

“We’ll check out the property,” Logan offers as he and Gage walk off into the woods near the back.

I run to the porch and into my frantic mother’s arms.
“Skyla, have you seen Mia?” Mom’s clothes are dirty, the buttons on her blouse are misaligned and there’s a sprig of leaves sticking out of the back of her head.

I hope her camping trip was the only thing cut short.

“No,” I pant. “Melissa said she was in your room.”

“She’s nowhere to be found,” Mom quivers as she holds me.

“Brielle had the baby,” her eyes swell with tears. “I’m on my way to the hospital. Promise me you won’t leave this house. I know Mia will come back. She’s probably goofing off with friends. She and Melissa haven’t exactly been getting along.”

“That,” Tad starts in, “or, she’s mirroring her big sis.”

I cringe when he says mirror.

“Are you happy now, Skyla?” He places an arm around Mom’s shoulder as they head down the porch. “Your lifestyle finally rubbed off on your little sister, and now she’s out doing God knows what with God knows who.”

They trail down to the minivan in a muffled argument.

“Shit,” I race into the house, up the stairs and into Mom’s bedroom to the empty space that once held the mirror. “Where is it?” I search around the bed, in the closet, the bathroom.

Now really wan't that just Wicked

Day 6 Addison Moore Week... Surprise Day #1

Day 6 here on Addison Moore week is ....
Surprise Day #1
What is the surprise you ask??? WELL I have for you straight from Addison .... A POV from none other than....

Logan Oliver

Squeeeeeeee

Ok OK enough from me.... here is Logan Oliver's POV :

Logan meeting Skyla for the very first time; (Before he procures a supervising spirit in VEX)

It rained three days straight—then like some kind of miracle it finally let off.
I toss the coins into the register, steady as a metallic waterfall.
Pennies. That’s all I’ll have to show for this place if business doesn’t pick up.
A chattering whirlwind walks through the door—Brielle. Looks like she’s brought company so I guess I’m supplying free shoes and ten rounds, probably a well catered lunch all on my dime. Brielle has a running tab six years long. In addition to that I pay her to hang out and talk on the phone.
I don’t really mind. At this point I’d pay half the customers to be here.
My eyes shift over to the girl with her. Long blonde hair, perfect body, perfect face—eyes as bright as diamonds.
A hot bite of perspiration cuts through me.
I’ve been around plenty of girls and not one of them has ever made me sweat.
The girl with the crystal eyes spears me a look that says I eat scum like you for breakfast. Not that I’d stop her. Hell—I’d encourage it.
My lips curve at the thought.
The girls turn and head towards a table.
“Bree,” I call.
Brielle rolls her eyes because she knows what I’m really after.
Gage pops up expanding his chest. I can tell he’s interested, but he’d better back off. No boys need apply. She’s all mine.
“Guys, this is Skyla,” Brielle ticks into the girl with a shy smile. “She’s moving into Chloe’s old house. Skyla, these are the knuckleheads I work with, Logan and Gage.” She waves her hands over Gage and me like she were gifting us to her—another thing I wouldn’t mind with the exception of Gage. The way he bats off girls waiting for ‘the one’ to show up makes me wonder if he’s switched teams.
Brielle laughs, she might very well be going on about something, but all I hear is the equivalent of a power mower. I’m too busy enjoying the view.
“Skyla?” Gage takes up her hand, pants into her like a puppy.
What the hell?
“Gage Oliver.” He leans in, never dipping his gaze to her cleavage.
He’s got self-control I’ll give him that.
Skyla—I want to say it—feel it tumble off my tongue. I’m half afraid I’ll shout it out in an uncalled for fit of delirium. Someone like Skyla has the power to make my voice break like a twelve-year old. I’m pretty sure I’d let her break me anytime she wanted in much more creative ways than that. The nightly possibilities I’m going to have with this one are staggering. I think I’ve just met the star of all my future best dreams, live and in person.
Time to stomp Gage and his affections out like a fire.
“You have a very unique name. It’s beautiful,” I say, carefully plucking Gage off her and replacing his death grip with mine. Reading her thoughts is just a pleasant side effect of holding her hand. Besides, it’s painfully obvious to everyone in the room that Gage is all worked up over our new friend here. I’ll have to push him into the pool later to cool him off.
She digs a half-smile into her cheek and my stomach twists like a tangle of bungee cords.
I pull in and bring her hand up to my lips.
“Logan Oliver,” I annunciate to let both her and Gage know I’m the only Oliver she needs to direct her interests towards.
“Oh, so you’re brothers?” She bites the inside of her lip and pivots in her shoes.
They look nothing alike. Or maybe they’re step? Mothers marrying morons is on the rise.
I give a private smile. I take it she doesn’t like the moron her mother married.
She turns her chest into me, brushes over me with an open look, and I swallow hard.
“Cousins.” I nod over towards Gage. “I live with them,” I lay my other hand over hers in the event she wants to divulge a full evaluation of the two of us. “My parents are both deceased.”
Did I just go there? There’s no quicker way to kill a conversation than dragging in your dead relatives.
Her face turns apple red.
Perfect. She’ll be bolting for the exit in less than five.
“Oh, I’m sorry.” She steps in with a great look of sadness. “My dad died, too.”
I gently place her hand by her waist, take her in with this newfound information. She’s not just a body, a face—she’s a person who loved someone and lost them.
My heart breaks for her. There is no greater pain than losing a parent. I want to let her know I’m here for her, that I’d gladly shield her from this rotten world—maybe I can help her heal—maybe she can help heal me.
“Sorry,” I whisper, absorbing her with wonder before she decides to bolt for safety. I want to memorize her, etch her into my grey matter. It takes all of my self-control not to wrap my arms around her and console her.
I ruined the moment. I’ll be the downer she does her best to avoid. Can’t run a business, can’t get the girl. I’m on a real effing streak.
I walk us over to a table and Gage plods along. I’ll have to manufacture a task for him if I catch him showing another ounce of interest. The last thing Gage and I need is to be competing for the same girl.
Gage swipes the seat across from Skyla and leans in, turns on those baby blues in an effort to jockey for her attention.
Guess Gage just put himself in the game, which is completely fine because everybody needs to learn to deal with a broken heart at some point in the their lives and this will have be his.
I give a complacent smile in his direction.
“So you’re a junior?” He knocks on the table like he’s demanding an answer.
I’ll have to give him a few pointers later on how to get the girl—all bad and fruitless of course—like write her a poem. Nothing says stalker like poetry.
“Yup.” She bites down on those perfect lips and my insides explode. “And you guys?”
“We’re all juniors!” Brielle shakes her as if we won the scholastic lottery. I swear that girl is on something half the time. Nobody walks around that psyched up to be alive twenty-four seven.
Skyla looks over at Bree like she’s lost it. She glares into her with an unnatural curiosity as if she were reading her mind.
“So tell me about Chloe,” Skyla takes us all in. It comes out interrogating— surprises the hell out me, and for a minute I wonder if she’s the second coming. Although in this altered state I think I could forgive Chloe of all her trespasses. Just the thought of Chloe Bishop makes my blood boil. That was the first and last time I’ll ever be used by anybody.
I glance back up at Skyla.
Although, I’d make an exception for her if I had to.
I’d break every rule in the book for her.

ummmm.... *swooon* yeah... I said it :)

Ok So I am switching things up a bit .... tomorrow will be A Break.... then on Tues It will be Review day for  Book 5 and Book 6 ... It will be a VLOG Review of both in one.. yeah I'm cheating LOL Then on Wed. will be Surprise Day # 2 with that being the FINAL DAY!!

Also, One Comment will win an e-copy of Ethereal as always if you own it gift it to someone who doesn't!!

Destiny Tour Stop :Guest Reader Review:

Today I have Mercedes as a Guest Reader Reviewer. She doesn't have a blog but loves to read! She is on Twitter which is how we met, So here is her review for the Tour....

When Destiny Knocks Review:

16 year old Karlie has had a pretty normal life. But when her Mom dies, she is forced to move over 1,000 miles away to live with her Dad. That's when things start getting weird.

She can't explain the earthquakes that nobody else feels, or why she no longer sleeps. But most of all she doesn't know why she trusts Shane so much, even though his Dad wants her dead.

Suddenly, Karlie's normal life is turned upside down and she enters a world she never dreamed could really exist.

I should start by letting you know this book has kept me on edge from chapter one. Don’t say I didn’t warn you, but be prepared to be intrigued, surprised and amazed by this story and its characters. I found myself needing to keep reading so I could answer the little questions piling up in my mind.

Angels, ghosts, demons, werewolves, witches, vampires and ogres were daily creatures in this kick-butt heroine’s life.

Besides all the action, which is a lot, there is romance in there. This could be taken as a spoiler but I have to inform you, you will fall in love with Shane. This green eyed, dangerous and sweet boy is going to make you rethink your boyfriend standards.

With a mortal enemy, a bunch of new and special friends, a forbidden love and an army after Karlie, the story twists, turns and builds to an action-packed ending. Speaking of which, no matter how good your guesses are, they won’t get even close.

Heather M. White is a really talented addition to the YA genre. With the ability to create a whole new world in the middle of Arkansas, she'll get you hooked from page one.

If you have enjoyed When Destiny Knocks, you should get ready and be already holding your breath for When Destiny Strikes. It’s going to blow your mind and knock your socks off.
I want to thank Mercedes again... Keep Reading girl! Thanks for being part of the tour!!

Ok ok... enough with the telling you about the book I can hear you all now... WHERE is GAGE?? Well here he is ....

My Gage!!!

Character Interview Gage Oliver

AM- Gage! I’m so happy to have you here today. You are so very loved, and for some reason as of late, you’ve been the focal point of much controversy. What do you make of all this?

Gage – I think once the truth comes out people will see if they were wrong or right about me. I know where my loyalty lies and soon everyone else will too.

AM- You’re a senior next year, any thoughts on what you might like to do post graduation?

Gage – A neighboring island has a university, I’ll probably be applying to in the fall. I was thinking I might try out for the team—see if I make the cut. I don’t know. I guess it depends if I can keep my grades up.

AM- You seem down.

Gage – I am. I’ve got a lot going on right now. I upset a lot of people—guess they thought I was something I wasn’t.

AM -  What’s your relationship like with Logan?

Gage – It’s hanging in there—by a thread. I’m not sure if it’ll ever be the same like before Skyla came into our lives. He’s like my brother. We’ve been through a lot but nothing like this. I don’t know if things will ever be the same for us.

AM- Did you sacrifice everything for love?

Gage – Not yet, but I will if I have to. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for the people I care about.

AM- That sounds ominous. Let’s move to a different subject. What are your thoughts on Marshall Dudley?

Gage – He’s a kook. I’d like to send him back to wherever the hell he came from. He’s nothing but a six thousand year old pervert.

AM -  What do you think about what happened to Skyla and Logan at the stone of sacrifice?

Gage – I think it’s horrible. I never wanted that to happen.

AM- Chloe arranged for that it. Does it change your opinion of her?

Gage – Not for a minute.

AM- You have the gift of knowing. Has that helped or hurt you?

Gage- I don’t know. I guess I’d have to say both. When I was little it was like a game. I would see things and when they would happen it was like Christmas. It was amazing to know I could see into the future. Lately it’s been nothing but a ball of confusion. I’m not sure I trust it anymore.

AM-  Do you know things you haven’t shared yet?

Gage- (Quiet for a moment) I know some things that are pretty painful. I know some things that if they do happen, they’ll be wonderful. I know things about Logan. I know things about Skyla, and I know things about Chloe.

AM- Would you ever tell any of them the things you know about their future?

Gage – Not these things. Sometimes it’s best to just let the future play out, let destiny do its thing.

AM- That’s almost the opposite of what Logan said.

Gage – That doesn’t surprise me. (Dimples explode, no smile) Logan and I have a different way of looking at life sometimes. He charges, I take my time.

AM- What kind of future would make you happy?

Gage – I want to live a simple life right here on the island, raise a family—maybe help my dad out with the mortuary or go into business for myself. I’m not sure yet. I like to write. Maybe I’ll write a book someday.

AM- What kind of book would you like to write?

Gage – Hmm, maybe a thriller, a mystery full of love and deception. I seem to know that best.

AM- Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me. If you do pen a novel I’d love to read it. Is there anything else you’d like to say?

Gage – One day, I’d like to tell my side of the story. I don’t like being villainized. Things happened, and I take responsibility for those things, but I don’t think I should be judged for helping the person I love.

AM- Fair enough. I’ll see to it that you get your side of the story out. I’m really looking forward to hearing things from your point of view.

Gage – Thank you.

**I may be upset with him... but I still totally Love this boy** *squeee* did you see that?? Gage getting his story out?? Yeah I'm dancin around like a little girl :)

Review:

So you know by now how much I love love love this series, right?  Wow this one is amazing... I think I have said that about them all so far but really... they just keep getting better!

The story is moving along at warp speed and Addison just goes with whatever she wants and it all just falls into place. Your just reading along and then SMACK nope it's not at all what you thought. I LOVE THAT!

Skyla is still just Skyla... she can't decide where her heart really lies, but I think that's because it is with 3 different guys. How can you not love something about each one of them? I know I am sooo anti Marshall it's not even funny when it comes to her but yeah there it is.

Full on trouble just keeps coming in this one... Between Chloe, Mia, Tad and the Fems I don't know how Skyla keeps her head on straight! Chloe has Gage up her butt b/c she's holding something over her, Mia is threatening Skyla everytime she turns around with something... Tad is just an ass any which way you put it and AHHH the Fems are everywhere! I will have to say some of my fave parts included Tad and some things that happen with him.

Wicked is just well... Wicked awesomeness!

Tomorrow is... Surprise Day and You SOOOO do NOT want to miss it! no really... BE HERE!

One Comment will win an e-book of Ethereal *if you own it give it to someone else to share in the Celestra love!!*
