Sugar Kisses by Addison Moore
*3 AM Kisses : Book 3*

Roxy Capwell couldn’t be more miserable. She just had her heart stomped on by her cheating boyfriend, and the last thing she’s looking for is love. She hates men.

Cole Brighton couldn’t be happier. He’s a player of the highest order, there’s not a girl at Whitney Briggs University that he can’t tag and bag. He loves the ladies.

Roxy’s dream is to own and operate her own bakery one day, but with no oven in her dorm, and a lucrative baking competition on the horizon, she agrees to move in with her best friend’s brother, the obnoxious, womanizing, Cole Brighton.

Between the heavenly scent of baked goods, and Roxy’s perfect body strutting around the apartment, Cole can’t think straight. So when Roxy’s ex starts sniffing around again, Cole volunteers to play the part of her new boy-toy and things get heated both in and out of the kitchen.

Roxy discovers she might not hate every man on the planet, and Cole discovers nothing tastes better than Roxy and her late night SUGAR KISSES.

Roxy is ball of stress and anger.

Cole is all ego and sex.

Their attraction is unstoppable.

And when their bodies collide—its combustible.

WOW! Addison brings it with Sugar Kisses... Sassy, Sexy and Sweet all rolled into one. I have to say I have yet to read 3 AM Kisses or Winter Kisses but I didn't feel lost, which is always a plus (although I AM SO going to read those)!

Roxy is our main gal and she is such a kick ass girl! I knew from page one I was gonna love her. She is Sassy as all get out,. She isn't a lay down and let someone walk all over you kinda girl... With her quick wit and the amazing head on her shoulders Roxy has it goin on. Is she completely together? Hell no...  Crazy ex, family, and she is taking college classes. Trying to bake up a storm....with flour and sugar flying in a room with a sexy guy ... what else could you want?

OH! I know... Cole Brighton!!!

Ok so I couldn't decide which I wanted to be "my" Cole LOL... When he is introduced I was all YUMM.... then I got the whole... Well aren't you a man whore ;) College is just right for Cole, he is living it up and living the college dream! Laying every girl he sees. He doesn't know what to do with Roxy at first. She doesn't want to be a notch on his wall. Cole is Amazing! and with his sexy attitude and super sweet side he is a ball of Awesome! I love when he calls Roxy cupcake... <3 p="">

You don't want to miss this sweet and sexy book! It is a MUST read go get it today!! It's out NOW!

Don't Fear The Reaper by Michelle Muto

SupaGurl is back and the first thing I want to show you and tell you all about.... Don't Fear The Reaper by Michelle Muto!! I am bringing to you the story behind the story.... Such an amazing story so find out now with never before seen info on the Book!!!

Haunted by memories of her murdered twin, Keely Morrison is convinced suicide is her only ticket to eternal peace.

But in death, she discovers the afterlife is nothing like she expected. Instead of peaceful oblivion or a joyful reunion with her sister, Keely is trapped in a netherworld on Earth with only a bounty-hunting reaper and a sarcastic demon to show her the ropes.

When the demon offers Keely her ultimate temptation--revenge on her sister's killer--she must determine who she can trust. Because, as Keely soon learns, the reaper and demon have been keeping secrets and she fears the worst is true--that her every decision changes how, and with whom, she spends eternity.

Tell Me About Heaven – The Story Behind Don't Fear the Reaper

I first came up with the idea for Don't Fear the Reaper after several agents had rejected another novel I’d written and asked if I had anything, darker – more edgy. Oddly, it’s been years, but I still recall coming up with the concept so vividly.

I was cleaning house and mulling over new ideas when Blue Oyster Cult’s iconic 1976 song, Don't Fear the Reaper, came up on my iPod’s playlist. There were several parts that truly inspired me: “Take my hand,” “40,000 men and women everyday,” “Love of two is one. Here, but now they’re gone,” and “the candles flew and the mist appeared, the curtains blew and then he appeared.”

From there, it was a matter of ‘What If’s’ that made my idea unique from the song. What if it wasn’t star-crossed lovers? What if it was family? What if the main character met up with a bounty-hunting reaper and a handsome, but sarcastic demon? And what if all the odds were stacked against my main character and yet, she still found hope and help in the most unlikely of fellow characters? What if all it took to save a soul was sacrifice, one born of undying love and devotion? And yet, the price of that salvation comes at a high price?

I couldn’t wait to write it. What I hadn’t expected was how it’d rip open old wounds, how the pain of writing Keely’s grief meant revisiting my own. I’d lost my grandparents, my parents, my uncles, all my aunts except for one. I’d lost friends and beloved fur babies, all of whom I’d loved with every fiber of my being. I’d witnessed four of their deaths. Held the head of two in my arms as they passed. Two died in the house I currently live in.

Up to this point, I’d managed my grief. Now, by sitting down to write about love that went beyond death, I was getting ready to stick a hammer and chisel into the wall I’d built and bring the wall down, and with it, all the painful memories I’d carefully placed behind it.

Tell me about Heaven, Dad
I really want to know,
Because ten long years have passed,
And I miss you so…
The above stanza is from a poem I wrote to my father ten years after his death. I cannot begin to describe what it was like to lose my father, whom I loved more than my very being. All these years later, I’ll freely admit it: I’m a Daddy’s girl. We’re so much alike, he and I.  I was robbed of him far too soon by multiple myeloma, a brutal and incurable cancer.
For those who have read Don’t Fear the Reaper, it’s easy to see the real life example I used. It’s easy to spot the grief, the emotion I used for my main character, Keely Morrison. There’s a couple scenes that I drew from real life.
Oh, and about those agents? I had several tell me that the opening was one of the best they’d read in a long time, and that the concept was original. But, in the end, they felt the subject matter was too dark. That’s okay. I’ve chosen to let the reader decide.

That’s my heart on a sleeve, Dear Reader. The story behind the story. Thanks for reading about the journey.

Haven't read this yet.... Well go hurry and check it out now!

Flukes by Nichole Chase RELEASE DAY!!

Flukes:
Meena has a secret guarded closely by her family—a secret as dangerous as the sea, and buried just as deep. When court appointed community service workers are assigned to Flukes, the family-owned animal sanctuary, everyone is on high alert. It doesn’t help that Meena finds herself attracted to sexy-as-sin Blake Weathering, one of             the new workers. If he wasn’t so distracting, she might be able to land Flukes a much-needed cruise line contract.

Blake Weathering, the first in his family to attend public school, has developed a tough image. Unfortunately it lands him in trouble. Now banned from his high school graduation ceremony, getting his diploma is dependent upon a community service gig cleaning fish crap. No diploma, no trust fund fortune—and no way to escape his overbearing father. The last thing he needs is the distraction of a mysterious girl with teal eyes who pulls at his heart strings.

When Blake discovers Meena’s secret, they are both thrown into a desperate search for information about her past. Two worlds pull them in opposite directions, and they will have to fight to hold onto all that really matters.

Who is SupaGurl...

Hi! SupaGurl here or IRL I'm Heather. I started this blog almost a year ago in hopes that I could give some people in my friends circle a place they could see what I was/am reading and tell them what I thought about the books. I am by no means a "professional" reviewer or anything. I just put my honest opinion out there and yes I even get a tad *ok alot* FanGirl most of the time.

I can't help it books, especially a really great book gets me all EXCITED! I hope I never loose that feeling while reading. While I started out to do just that, I have ended up with my blog doing So Much More! My Reviews are usually not long at all, because I get straight to the point. I am an all in kinda girl, meaning I am either ALL about the book and I love it or I just can't finish it. I did however give one series *adult* 6 books to try and make it better and well that didn't work out, but I know what I like and what I don't. So I know what works for me. If I can care about the characters and the writing is decent...I can usually follow along with any story.

So...You wanna know some random things about me? Well, ok then here ya go:

  • I have two great kids that I love more than anything who sometimes make me want to run away from home and move to the middle of nowhere....
  • I am really not great at being consistent...with anything! *you will notice that here on the blog*
  • The dark TERRIFIES me! do you know what kinds of things are in the dark that can eat you??? *shudders*
  • I love coffee and drink way too much of it... and Mt. Dew too.
  • I married my complete opposite in EVERY WAY, but I wouldn't trade him in for anything!
  • I want a Lamborghini so bad *since I was like 5* and I will have one someday *even if I have to live in it for awhile LOL*
  • I don't wear make-up * occasionally eyeliner* never have
  • Don't wear heels although I would love to cause some are just awesome, but I'm a huge klutz!

Blogging has led me to meet some of the most awesome people and Authors evarr!! I am a huge stalker on Twitter cause there is so much going on there that I could never keep up. So to all the bloggers and followers I totally heart you guys! To the Authors who are always up for a chat or even just listen to me *squeee* like a little girl, and even the ones I have gotten to meet in person, Thanks You so much! I really am glad that I started this and hope to keep going to well, as long as I'm able to.

Tell me something about ... YOU!
