Today help me welcome
Author of Carrier of The Mark
Leigh Fallon to the Celebration!
Leigh Was nice enough to do a Q&A with me for my followers here goes...
SG: Describe you book in a Tweet.
Leigh: A spine tingling paranormal romance combining mysterious attraction and ancient magic in the achingly beautiful backdrop of Ireland.
SG: The storyline for Carrier of the Mark is amazing, was it difficult to come up with, write?
Leigh: No, not at all. The story poured out of my head. I couldn't write fast enough. I'd have different scenes popping into my head and I'd have to stop writing a chapter to jot down notes on another. It was like it had been brewing for years. I loved every second of it.
SG: If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Leigh: I've seen my fair share of countries. I adored Sweden, I could definitely live there. But there is something really special about Italy. The people, the country, the food, the ambiance, the architecture all make for a cracking place to live. I actually got engaged in Italy. Happy memories.
SG: What has been the craziest thing a fan has done so far?
Leigh: Emm... well, someone gave me their phone number and told me to call them if I got any hassle from creepers. They said they'd sort them out. (for real!!)
This or That...
Chocolate or Vanilla
In ice cream - Vanilla. In everything else - chocolate
Fruit or Candy
Depends. I love chocolate, but not hot on sweets. I love tropical fruit. Can I have chunks of fruit and a chocolate fountain...pleeeease?
E-book or Real book
I'd love to say ebook, but I'm still a sucker for a real thing. You can't beat having shelves lined with amazing books, pretty covers, and the smell...awesome.
Run around or Stay home
I like a bit of both. If I run around a bit, I like to balance it with a few days at home. I do like my own space and solitude.
Thank you so much Leigh for stopping by and answering my silly questions!

I've been aching to read this for some months now, thanks for this chance. I would go with ebooks over paperbacks simply because I collect anime and manga as well. I can only have one collection at a time sadly. :(

Happy Blogoversary darling. Cool interview.
ReplyDeleteThis has an awesome cover. I've seen it on lots of blogs around the web and would love to read it.
ReplyDeleteI loved the interview. I'm a real book girl as well. I keep getting ebooks on my ipad thinking i'll get around to actually reading one, but I still haven't. I love my shelves and shelves of books that are all over my house. I drive my family crazy with them and i get a little crazy when the news and blogs talk about the age of actual books passing. I think I will cry.

I've heard so many things about The Carrier of the Mark that I'm eager to see what all the talk is about. I haven't read a lot of books that embrace Celtic mythology, so it should be fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogoversary

ReplyDeleteSomehow I am still a sucker at buying books even though I own a Nook and wanted it for the very reason to stop buying books. Yeah that didn't work lol. Oh I would love to go to Italy. Especially Venice I definitely need to see the City on Water, then Florence for all the art, well everywhere really haha. I am so a chocohalic and chocolate ice cream is my favorite, for sweats I will usually go for M&Ms. Yum lol.
ReplyDeleteThe smell is definitely why I like actual books! Oh, and the covers are great too :)

Thanks for the giveaway! I love print books. I prefer the feel of them to the electronic devises. I find it impossible to snuggle with one of those. Print books also look better on the book shelf!
