Today on the 4th day of my Celebration I bring you
Kelly Creagh Author of Nevermore!
Kelly stopped writing for just a min. to answer some questions for my awesome followers!
SG : I absolutely fell in love with Nevermore, how many books are you planning on writing to go with this?
Kelly : Nevermore is a planned Trilogy. Enshadowed will be the second installment which has lots of twists and turns and revelations!
SG : Can you tell us about your ideal writing space?
Kelly : There is a local coffee shop called Quills that I love writing at. Actually, I’m sitting there right now! When I begin drafting a novel, though, I usually do so best in private. Even though I have an office space, I usually write at my kitchen table. It’s the best when I have a cup of coffee and my dog, Annabel, curled up in my lap or nearby in her bed. She’s great writing company.
SG : Who are some of your favorite authors?
Kelly : I have so many! Joyce McDoland, author of Shades of Simon Gray, Robin McKinley, who wrote Beauty. I’m also a HUGE J.K. Rowling fan. She’s very much my literary hero. I think Poe goes without saying! I also get a big kick out of Charlaine Harris’s work and the Sookie Stackhouse books. One of my favorite books of all time is Phantom by Susan Kay. I read it when I was seventeen and that book affected me on such a deep level. I’d always been a reader, but I think that book was the one that made me fall in love with books to the point where I always had to have one!
SG : Where is the one place you would like to visit in the World?
Kelly : New Orleans is one of my favorite cities ever. Though I have traveled there before, I have not been back since Katrina. I would like to return there soon, though. I have a deep love for New Orleans. As far as places I’ve never been? I think I would love to go to Germany. California would be way fun, too!
This or That:
Eat in or Dine out?
Dine out. If I can get a good home cooked meal? Dine in.
Ebook or Real Book?
REAL BOOK! I have to hold it. That’s part of the experience!
Movie Theater or Rent a movie?
Movie theatre! I love going to movies.
Kelly thank you so much for taking the time off writing to answer questions...

ReplyDeleteI prefer to hold a real book also. However we just do not have enough room for all the books I want. So my husband and I compromised and I get some ebooks and some real books.
